The people at the salon were extremely nice and friendly, but unfortunately, that doesn’t make up for the fact that I didn’t receive the service I requested. I came in with a clear photo of the style I wanted—10 to 12 neat, small-sized feed-in braids. I called twice beforehand and was told it would be $100 for 10 braids and $120 for 12. When I arrived, I was suddenly told the price would be $160, which was completely different from what I had been quoted. After the first two braids were done, I let the stylist know they were too large. She kindly took them out and redid them, but they still weren’t what I asked for. I’m not very confrontational, so even though I hated how it looked, I just sat through the rest of the appointment. She kept asking if I liked it, and I just said it was fine… but the truth is, I really didn’t. To make things worse, by the end of the appointment, the price was changed again to $140 because the braids "aren’t that big." I never wanted large braids in the first place, as clearly shown in the reference photo I provided. I paid and left, but I ended up taking the braids out the same day because I was so unhappy. It’s really frustrating when stylists say they can do a style, then don’t deliver, and on top of that, change the pricing multiple times. I appreciated the kindness, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing, and I won’t be coming back.

I’m really disappointed with my experience. I’ve been to the salon two times before and I always call beforehand to verify if they provide the style that I’m looking for. Therefore, before going, I called ahead to confirm a specific hairstyle and was told the price of the hairstyle with and without the hair included. Based on that information, I decided to go for a third time. When I arrived at the salon, I was then told they don’t actually provide hair for that style, so I had to change my hairstyle on the spot, which was frustrating and inconvenient. To make matters worse, even after changing the style, I did not receive the length of hair that I specifically asked for. Length was something I was very clear about and expressed dissatisfaction with a few braids in, and it still wasn’t done correctly after I was told not to worry about it and that it would look how I wanted it to at the end. I will say the staff was polite and kind, which I appreciate, but overall the miscommunication, last-minute changes, and not delivering what was requested made this a poor experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return based on this visit. However, if you have an exact picture of what you would like then maybe this will be the place for you.

Went here same day. Was serviced for a knotless boho bob. Three ladies worked on my hair at one time. The braids weren't too tight and they finished fast. I would recommend if needing someone who takes walk in appointments. The price point was standard for the industry. Was shocked though at paying sales tax on services but the service was conducted professionally and timely so no complaints.

I went in 10:30 was done by 3:30. They did a wonderful job. I got old school box braids, smedium. I highly recommend this place, Just remember bring cash and parking can be a little worrisome. But my experience at shop was awesome and very professional! I loved it. Definitely return customer…

Owner is unprofessional & rude. I came there to get my daughter’s hair Boho Senegalese. Mind you there is no appts is what she told me 48 hrs prior before we came. I asked her about the price. She tells me $260 (synthetic blend) more for human hair. Which lets me know theres an option. & because my kid is 12 … I always do blend because she doesn't keep the styles in long for me to be paying for human. Im like cool. I’ll take synthetic blend. She never asked about color, length , or size. We Came in at 9am & the women in there did not greet me or anything, just dead stares. I also was waiting at the door for my kid to come inside. So I said , "Hi, I spoke to someone about boho knotless for my kid" The lady says okay, what size & length & color. I said medium/ back & red to match my daughter’s hair color. She brings the boho HUMAN hair, and asks how much was I told. I told her $260. Instantly, she makes a face & declines the price. & says the style with human hair is not that price. I take the liberty to inform her that I was told that you guys carry both when I discussed the service over the phone. I proceed to call the number back (which I assume is the owner) I bring my concerns to her & tell her exactly what happened. They begin speaking in their language & the girl just walks away & the lady is like "Hello" I said" Yes I am here" She says " We wont be able to do your daughters hair" Im like huh?? Why is that? She says " you cant come in my business & speak to people any way & think you will get a service" & Im still lost & not understanding wth is she talking about… So I tell my kid lets go. I leave & tell my kid to get in the car & I ask her HOW… Did I speak to your staff? I said when we talked.. You said no appts & gave me a price for a style w/ synthetic blend not human & you told me you had the hair in your shop. I said you never inquired about size, length, nor color. But had no problem giving a price. & because your staff was not privy to our interaction, they feel as if Im trying to lowball the price that I was quoted. In addition, you guys are not prepared for a service that you confirmed. Especially, when you emphasize to me that YOU PROVIDE HAIR. So I said its not right to deny my daughters hair for a mistake & misunderstanding that was initiated on your end. I would have just made an appt w/ someone else that could accommodate my request. She tells me they have the right to refuse service & then proceeds to say Im on my way there now & hung up in my face. My first mind was … Am I supposed to be scared or something? Was that an indirect threat? Like she was looking for confrontation or what, because that wasn't the energy I gave. Then I was like let me go, one my child still needs her hair braided & two I love having my freedom. Overall, being a new resident of WS, hell NC altogether my first experience with this shop was horrific & disgusting. For future reference, when you are getting booked for a service, or someone calls for a price, engage with your prospective client by asking questions. To ensure that the experience is professional & successful.

One star for the worst braids I’ve ever had and I get my hair braided a lot! I gave an extra star for customer service was surprisingly good. You don’t know which braider you will get and mine was not a good one. She made my braids very heavy. Causing stress on scalp. Her technique was awful. She kept plucking out hair from my scalp while braiding. And the braids in the back had she braided lazy. After inspection, so much of my hair was just hanging out of each braid. I was there from 8:30a to 9:30pm. I was just happy to leave and never return

I cannot recommend this place enough. I got canceled on by my stylist at 9:30 AM for my 10:30 AM appointment!! I called them around 10 and they got me in around 12. And I was done around four. Very professional very quick and my hair looks amazing. And the young girl that I was talking to was very nice and thoughtful. The price was also very fair
