Canyon Salon & Extension Bar

I got a cut and color (blonde foiliage with a shadow root) with Nikki, the owner of Canyon Salon, and it was easily the best experience I've ever had getting my hair done. Both Nikki and Kameron (who assisted with the foils) were so sweet and warm, and conversation flowed naturally. Nikki perfectly executed my vision, making sure to understand exactly what I wanted. She was also SO patient when I wasn't entirely sure about certain details (e.g., how long did I want my layers?) and made adjustments throughout to ensure that I could decide as we went. She made me feel like I was the only client in the whole salon, despite it being a very popular and busy place. For years, I have been so bummed out with my experiences at various salons (across multiple cities in the US!)-- no matter how many inspiration pics I showed, or how detailed my request, I never felt like the end product was "blonde enough." Nikki knocked it out of the park and accomplished what SO many stylists have failed to do for me. While salon treatments in the LA area certainly aren't cheap, the price was *extremely* reasonable for the amount of time Nikki spent with me. The quote that I received online during booking beforehand was spot-on, so I also knew exactly what to expect going in (it's so nice to not be surprised when buying a service!!!). I would be willing to pay far more than I did more for her expertise! I am so blown away and cannot recommend Canyon Salon enough. Nikki was absolutely fantastic, although I'm sure you can't go wrong with ANY of the stylists. I'm already excited to go back!

Got my hair done by Ray and absolutely love it! She was so sweet and went over everything I wanted with me and took her time to make sure I would love my results! Her shampoo was incredible with an amazing head massage. I highly recommend her for any of your coloring/cut/styling needs!

I’ve had a lot of bad experiences going to salons and have been always scared to find a new stylist but Taylor is heaven sent! She is extremely professional and has a really positive personality. She was able to get me in for a consultation on dying my virgin hair blonde. We talked about pricing and how the process would go. She did a strand test and got me booked for my first session before I’m leaving for a trip to Europe. During the appointment she talked me through each step and really took her time with the process. After I went home I felt like it was a little cooler toned than I hoped and was really worried on what to do. Taylor was so sweet and said I could come in the next morning to warm up the color with toner. She also blow dried it and styled it for me just in time for my photoshoot. I’m just so in love with the color now! So happy I found her and I would recommend her to anyone who wants a real professional to do their hair. I cannot wait for my next session with her after my trip. I’m feeling so happy and confident with my new hair color. Thank you Taylor!

The Canyon Salon is truly something special. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. I had been growing out my gray for years and came in planning to bleach it all and start fresh. In the past, I had stylists try to blend it, but it never looked quite right, so I figured covering it with blonde was my only option. Nikki, who is not only warm and easy to talk to but also incredibly talented, encouraged me to keep my natural gray and offered a plan to make it work. She chose a color that blends perfectly, letting the gray shine through as soft highlights with a seamless, natural look. She also gave me the exact haircut I asked for, including bangs. I’ve been to plenty of salons where the blowout made the cut look okay at first, but a few days later the flaws would show. Not with Nikki. Her cuts grow out beautifully, and I can already tell this one will age well. The whole experience felt thoughtful, professional, and low-stress. I’m genuinely excited to come back.

I had Kameron do my weave.. I decided to do it a darker blonder this time, and add light blonde highlights. It looks great. She did a great job !

I'm actually pretty disappointed at my hair cut. Great service, but the stylist was in hurry, so she missed all the details for my lob cut. Guess what happened? A week later, Nikki ( owner) called me back and offered to fix my hair the way I expected. Yay! I'm very satisfied with her skills and wonderful service! I love my new hair cut!
