Les Cheveux Salon

First I want to address the blatant disparaging misinformation mentioned in previous reviews. Fact is the parking spaces directly in front of the salon are reserved spaces and if u park there u will be ticketed and the salon owner goes to great pains to avert that for his clientele by letting them know whenever he happens to see them park there. Unfortunately some patrons apparently have taken offense to this and have used this platform to write nasty reviews …unfair and cowardly! Shame on you and enlisting others (all fake) to do the same. Let’s get the facts straight the reason this salon owner has been successfully operating for more than 30 years I dare say is because he is exceptionally skilled, passionate about his work and devoted to causes that make our world a better place. I’m just one of countless loyal clients who always leaves more than thrilled with how he continually styles and colors my hair… I cant even tell u how many times I’m stopped to ask "who does your hair" love it! M Z

John is a brilliant hair stylist (cut, color, style) and the salon is relaxing, welcoming, bright and it's easy to park (with the parking lot right behind the salon). I absolutely LOVE my hair color, and I'm not easy to please! If you want NYC experience/quality right in WH, Les Cheveux is the place to go!

For the people rating a business based on parking, that is reserved for customers, and shared with another business get a grip. Don’t try to bash someone’s business because you can’t follow laws. Great salon, Great owner. Don’t let reviews sway you away, 5/5 service!!

So this guy, bald, looks like Mr. Clean, I’m guessing is the owner of the salon, harassed me while door-dashing for parking next to Bartaco. I was honestly in there less than 30 seconds. On some real, he needs to quit his job at the salon and become neighborhood watch officer. I have never met someone so uptight over parking spaces that don’t concern them. Seeing as there’s no parking for dashers in that area, it’s already a lot going in restaurants to grab orders. I guess because of this, it warranted him to refer to me as "ghetto", (interesting choice of words seeing as I’m a black girl), and I’m pretty sure as I was driving off I heard him making racial comments I’m sure he’s going to deny (like a racist always does). I just wanted to warn other dashers, particularly ones of color, that this man will harass you and make it difficult for you to do your job if you have any orders around that area.

I was a customer today getting my hair done and I watched this man go outside and yell at a woman just for parking where she was not supposed to. He even went as far as following her in to the next doors restaurant and yelling inside of there as well. It was extremely embarrassing and disrespectful for him to speak to a young woman in that manner especially when it was nothing serious to be so angry about! I could NOT BELIEVE what I just witnessed and I will never come back to this salon again. It was disgusting and he has no respect for woman at all.

If you can make it happen do it, you won't be dissapointed regardless of age or sex.
