Maria is an excellent stylist, colorist and all around beauty advisor. She is very professional and puts her clients first before anything else. I can count on her to be truthful in her assessments of my hairstyle. Her new salon is beautiful and very pleasing to visit. I’ve been going to her for over 30 years. Excellent in every way!

The compliments I receive after meeting up with Maria for my hair sessions are rewarding. It is worth my travels. Maria is my go-to for my highlights, and I come in from Chicago. No one else does my highlights. I can get my maintenance of root cover done in Chicago, but it is Maria only that does my highlights. She is charming, certainly knows the best colors to put together to get the results you want. She listens when you want to make changes and accommodates to perfection. I leave her salon with the cutest cut / style and fresh color, receiving many compliments. I highly recommend MX Hair. Maria is the best! She always goes above & beyond with her services and makes it super easy to schedule a haircut when needed. I’ve been going to her for years and as long as she is cutting hair, I will be solely going to her. I cannot recommend her enough and if I could give her 10 stars, I absolutely would!!

I will never forget my first time experience walking into Mario Max hair studio to get my hair done. It was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Maria gave my son a perm. He is a teen who is highly particular about his hair. He loved his haircut and his perm! We were visiting W Bloomfield from Atlanta when my son went to Maria, and may need to fly back to see Maria when he needs another perm. She is that good!!

I decided to try something new for my birthday and called the salon on a whim after seeing some glowing reviews for Maria — and I’m so glad I did! She was able to fit me in same-day for a color, highlight, and cut. Even though it was our first time meeting and she had never worked with my hair before, she nailed it. The color is spot-on, the cut is perfect, and the whole experience was just lovely. Maria is not only incredibly skilled, but also warm, genuine, and easy to talk to. Her daughter also works at the salon, and the atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming — it truly felt like a special day. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and so happy with the results. I think I found my new go-to!

Maria is seriously talented at giving men's hair style! She's been cutting my hair for many years and always makes it look fantastic! She is as sweet as she is skilled! Definitely recommend! So easy to work with...always has the best attitude. And she takes great pride in the details. 10/10
