Genuinely will never recommend this place to anyone. The people are nice, but they don't listen to what you actually want. I went to get very light highlights and came out full blonde and it wasn't even. I went back multiple times (big mistake) to tell them that they didn't even do it even and they kept charging me for something they messed up on. Made me terrified to ever touch my hair again. I've been growing out my blonde since 2023, and finally just cut the rest of it off. Please, don't come here unless you want to mess up your hair for years. Not sure why this place had high ratings

I visited this salon 2-3 times for a haircut, hoping for a stylist who could deliver a cutting-edge look for my short, fine hair. Unfortunately, the cuts were just a trim of my existing style and marginal—nothing special or tailored to my style, and at $85+, they felt overpriced. My biggest issue, though, was their handling of a missed appointment. I woke up feeling unwell, and right before my appointment, I was hit hard with sudden period symptoms—severe cramps, the sweats, nausea, and diarrhea. I was barely able to function when the receptionist called. Before I could explain and ask if I could be a little late (living less than 5 minutes away), she curtly informed me I was missing my appointment and was no longer welcome back. The lack of empathy was shocking and unprofessional. I understand no-show policies, but a little compassion would’ve gone a long way. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place based on my experience.

I made an appointment with Judith after finding out sadly that my go to stylist Joel had passed. Receptionist told me they were giving Joel’s clients to Judith as she cut hair in the same style as Joel. Joel always charged me $65.00. While I liked the trim Judith gave me, she charged me $90.00. It was not actually a full cut, just a trim of already existing haircut. I questioned the receptionist about this and she stated the higher price was because I had a blow dry. What? Joel always dried my hair. Was I to get a haircut and leave the salon with wet hair? The blow dry was nothing special, nothing fancy, just a blow out after a cut. Considered this robbery and I will never go back!

Sadly won’t be coming here again. We took my 5 and 3 year old girls and my 6 year old niece to get haircuts together. I had called in advance to get kid’s cut pricing and was told it started at 35$, but I expected my 5 year old to have a more expensive cut as her hair is very thick and more full than most adults. The other two girls have very fine hair, so 35$ was reasonable for a trim. The girls had nice cuts, especially my 5 year old who Mike did a great job with. However Minda charged 70$ a piece for my three year old and niece, spending less time on both of their haircuts and blow dry than Mike did with my thick-maned daughter (whom he charged 65$ for, as expected). Sure the haircuts were nice, but paying 70$ for a 3 year old to get a 20 minute trim and blow dry is outrageous. And the fact that it was double than what was quoted is even more incredulous. Mike was a class act and I am pleased with my 5 year old’s cut, and pricing was expected for her. Sad because we live around the corner and this would’ve been our go-to salon. Back to Figo in Birmingham, where they charge a reasonable $37 for a kids cut, and $60 for an adult woman’s haircut!

After much consideration and helpful advice from Maria, I decided to color my gray for the first time. Medium brown with a few highlights - love it!! Maria did a fabulous job with both my haircut and color. She is not only a great artist, but also punctual, attentive, informative and super pleasant! Looking forward to the New Year with my new look. Thanks Maria.

I have been to my fair share of excellent stylists from Los Angeles to Michigan, but I have to say -- Jackie is a master! She is a master barber but she is also a master stylist! After receiving a botched pixie cut at a "top rated" salon, Jackie saved the day. I had a feeling she would be the best, and she is! I look and feel 100% better. Thank you for making my holidays brighter!

The employees are extremely unprofessional. I've called 5 times within a month to schedule an appointment and each time the receptionist confirmed they would call me back, and I never heard back. The final time I called this week, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was recommended by my hairstylist, who's been in the business for 30 years, to see Michael for a Brazilian treatment. She is a friend of his and the receptionist told me he's never done these treatments while previous times calling about the specific treatment, I was told I'd hear back to schedule. Client facing service is everything to a business, I am disappointed by the unprofessionalism at the salon.
