Customer Reviews

I urge you to stay away from this establishment. It breaks my heart to write this review because I left with severely damaged hair after my visit. They neglect their customers and seem more focused on chatting with each other. I arrived with thick, beautiful curly hair and left with burnt and ruined locks. To sum it up, I have no hair left; it all fell out in the shower. I made an appointment for 10:00 AM, but when I arrived, the stylist I booked was busy with another client, which left me confused. A random lady washed my hair, but she was rough and didn't take the time to do it properly. After that, I was left waiting under the dryer for quite a while until the stylist could attend to me. When she finally did, she rushed through my hair carelessly, ignoring how many times she passed the straightener through my hair. Overall, there was a complete disregard for the time I spent under the dryer. The only thing that could make me happy is a full refund of $90 because this is ridiculous. They charged me for a deep condition I did not even ask for.
It was my first time at the Naara salon and I really enjoyed the experience. Dayana was kind and welcoming. Everyone was nice, heard my requests, and had my hair looking beautiful. I came for a blow dry, trim, and deep condition. Update: The only thing is they cut more than I requested. I asked to cut an inch (as I often wear my hair natural so I retain length for less styling manipulation). As you can see in the photo that was clearly more than an inch. Now, I’ll probably have to wear my hair straight for the next 6 months to regrow. It looks pretty so I’m not mad. But this is often the concern I have when going to salons. I understand health of hair is important. But I’ve went the big chop route many of times and it often left my hair more damaged because I would have to manipulate it more to style it to where I felt comfortable. Versus when long I feel comfortable in its natural state. Overall, I would recommend. Just if you don’t really want to cut too much, I would trim yourself.
I had a disaster at a previous salon and dayana help me so much. She was patient with me, helpful and cared about my hair. I had yellow hair before this and she brought it to to color I want. Definitely coming here for now on.
Friendly costumer service very welcoming atmosphere the ladies where very nice. I got my first perm and I was little overwhelmed if the experience will be exhausting they made it easy and comfy. So happy about the results and hoping to comeback and recommend to others.
Y’all I came into the salon with my scarf on. I had not touched my hair in 3 weeks. I’m pregnant and sick all the time so my energy has been at an all time low. As soon as I walked in for my appt, one of the ladies called me to the hair wash station with the biggest smile on her face. Literally no judgement and she didn’t even flinch when she took my scarf off 😂 I asked her "are you ready?? I’m so sorry in advance" and she was like "please, no worries. We’ll take care of you and make you more beautiful than you already are" ♥️ they won me over. One of the other ladies took her time to detangle my hair under the water, they gave me a deep condition and got me together real good. My husband got a completely new wife when I went home, he was so pleasantly surprised. I didn’t cut my ends but I’ll be back to do that for my next visit. These ladies were pleasant and wonderful. I told my mom I felt like I was at my Dominican aunties with her friends. The only thing is as soon as I stepped outside my hair did frizz up rather quickly. EDIT PLUS NEW PICTURE: After my last visit here I left a review stating that my hair before and after was an amazing difference. They did such a great job with my 4C hair and the only concern I had was regarding my frizz. I made another appt a month later and I got a call from someone at the salon who wanted to make sure I was taken care of so that wouldn’t happen again. While I was there Kireiny explained to me what my hair needed. I have super dry hair and high porosity hair it’s hard for my hair to retain moisture. She gave me knowledge and a plan of action that involves hair masks and deep conditioners to keep up with to improve my hairs moisture. Again, amazing customer service and hair services. So happy I found them. 10/10
I was charged $169 for a relaxer, wash, blow-dry, and trim—and didn’t even get what I asked for. I specifically requested a relaxer, wash, and roller set under the dryer. Instead, the stylist did whatever she wanted. She overprocessed my relaxer as if it was my first time ever getting one, even though I clearly know what I’m doing as a Black woman who’s had relaxers before. To make it worse, she didn’t do the roller set at all, just blew my hair out and trimmed. Two days later, I’m stuck wearing a ponytail because my hair looks nothing like what I paid for. Communication was a struggle, and it feels like they just ignore what customers ask for. I should’ve listened to the reviews and kept scrolling, but I didn’t—and I regret it. Highly disappointed and definitely not worth the money.
I had a fantastic experience with Odalys receiving a full color, shampoo and conditioning treatment, cut, and style. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The vibes were there! The stylist was attentive to my preferences, offered helpful suggestions, and took the time to ensure everything turned out just right. My hair feels healthier, looks vibrant, and the style has been getting compliments non-stop! The $185 was well worth the quality of care and results I received. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a professional and satisfying hair transformation
