MUSE THE SALON

I so wanted to give them 5 stars. Bianca had a great personality, loved her!! I'm from the other side of the bay & had time to kill. Went in for a haircut (which is fine, not great). Bianca asked if I wanted some highlights as my dark hair had grown out. So she did highlights, with the lead hairstylist (owner?) checking Bianca's work. This morning with better light I find orange patches in my hair, right on top. Not hidden. Now maybe i should've noticed there but two stylists DEFINITELY SHOULD HAVE NOTICED. As I don't live close I'll have to go to my normal person to fix it. Disappointing

I was very nervous to trust someone with my hair again, and after doing a lot of research and reading reviews I came across Muse. Not many artists can work with color but Monica was able to do exactly what I wanted, she is truly a Pro. She did a color correction to get rid of the yellow and brassiness and my hair came out AMAZING and with no damage. I am super happy with the results and I’ve gotten so many complements already! On top of that, everyone at the salon was super nice and knowledgeable!

I went made an appointment here after seeing good reviews for hair color and highlights for my wedding. I've had bad experiences in the past and had finally found a hairstylist/colorist that I love and trusted in Atlanta. However, since I moved back to Tampa, I have not sought anyone else out. I was nervous but I am SO GLAD that I took a chance with Muse and met Monica. She did an awesome job on my hair. I love every bit of it and was even more eager for my wedding day. She toned my hair color so that I would still look fresh for my wedding, which was going to be 3 weeks away. Monica gave me good and realistic consultation advice. She also was so easy to talk to. She is super sweet and down to earth--I felt so relaxed and comfortable with her. I will definitely be coming back!

I researched hair salons for weeks and came across Muse and the portfolio of before and after photos of their clients and was impressed! I called and asked for Monica and she was able to see me within a few days and I can honestly say I have the BEST hair I have ever had in my life. My highlights are perfect! The tones and depth and light are so amazing! I love my hair. The price was perfect too! Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Muse is absolutely the best hair salon in the Tampa Bay Area. Monica Ponce is an incredible talented hair colorist and stylist. She did an amazing job with my hair color. I used to leave in Los Angeles, CA for 20 years. Moved here 3 years ago. Unfortunately I went to a couple of supposedly great salons in the Tampa area, but had bad and horrible experiences. My hair was damaged, yellowish color and dark spots here and there. Honestly, I was nervous because it was my first time at Muse. But Monica made me feel very comfortable. She fixed my color. I love the results. She exceeded my expectations. Monica did a double process color and conditioning. Is amazing to see my hair color that I wanted for years. Considering that my natural hair color is very dark brown. Now my hair is super blond. I love it and my husband does too! I’m definitely going back. I highly recommend Monica. Believe me, if you go to Muse your hair will look better than ever! I’m adding this to my review... I went back for my color and Monica did another awesome job!!! And she cut my hair and did a Keratin treatment . I cannot be any happier!!! My hair looks awesome! I’m getting lots of nice complements! Monica is absolutely The Best!!!! Wow! I’ll give her more stars if I could!!!!

Monica was wonderful! Came in very hesitant due to hair issues I have been experiencing- she was kind, informative & very personable. Her assistant (whose name I forgot, she has platinum hair) was a sweetheart as well. Btw I booked for a consultation & she was able to put me in for a haircut same day. I definitely recommend this hair salon. For reference, I have straight, fine hair. Not bleached. Thank you Monica and Angelica (think that’s her assistants name). Photos don’t do justice
