This place is a 10/10 every single time I visit. From the moment you walk into the space you feel warm, welcome & beautiful. The space is bright, clean & always has the best music playing. Clint has done my color & I always leave feeling fresh & my color…perfect, every time. Derek has cut my hair & styled it…one of the best cuts I have ever had. Needless to say at this point, but if you are looking for a new salon, this place should be your first & only choice.

Material is more than a salon; it's a warm and welcoming experience. Kevin, Derek, and Clint are exceptional in their craft, and chatting with the team makes every visit fun. My wife's hair always looks amazing thanks to them. We wouldn't go anywhere else! We highly highly recommend Material!

The best salon in Tampa Bay. Derek is extremely talented. He was able to turn my drab hair into something with movement and dimension! I am so happy with my hair. The space is also gorgeous: chic and airy. It's unlike anything else in Tampa. All around, 10 out of 10. What a lovely experience! I can't wait to book my color with Clint.

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Kevin at Material, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Kevin's expertise and attention to detail truly transformed my look. He listened attentively to my preferences and skillfully executed the perfect hairstyle. The salon itself exudes a welcoming and stylish atmosphere, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Kevin for his talent and the beautiful salon for its overall fantastic ambiance. A five-star experience, indeed!

I have very long thick, wavy, textured hair that most stylists struggle with. Additionally, my appointments are almost always 3 hours (again, due to the sheer volume of my hair) and can be quite boring. I saw multiple stylists after moving to Tampa and even considered flying back to Houston just for a hair appointment. Thankfully, I found Material!! Not only did Derek give me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received, I had a fabulous time with him and Kevin. I will absolutely be back.
