Balance Salon AVEDA

I went to this salon when I first moved to Tampa. I told the stylist, Carissa, that other stylists had tried to overcharge me in the past. I had just gotten new hair extensions and paid over $2,000 for the hair alone, plus $500 for the installation. Shortly after, the extensions started hurting me, so I called the salon repeatedly, but no one answered. When I finally reached the front desk, I explained that I needed the extensions removed immediately because they were painful. She told me the earliest they could see me was Wednesday—and this was on a Monday. I ended up going to HQ Aveda in Wesley Chapel instead, and I highly recommend them. They were kind, professional, and not money-driven. Ask for Jennifer—she showed me what Carissa had done, and she couldn’t believe how poorly the extensions were installed and tied. She also told me that if I had kept them in much longer, I could have lost more of my hair. I would not recommend getting hair extensions done at this salon. For honest and personal service, go to HQ Aveda instead. And I did I left voicemail regarding the situation and I called and left message and I called yesterday stating that I needed them taken out right away. The woman said she couldn’t book me until Wednesday. and what you’re stating saying that I did not complain about this ahead of time to your secretary which is not true, does not answer the phone. It rings and rings and then goes to voicemail. this is exactly the response that I said in the message that you do not take accountability for what the hair stylist did you put blame on me and just shows just how you treat your clients that you put the blame after you see what she did with the hair so I will not be going back .

I took my daughter in for a cut with Autumn. Her last cut was about 4 months ago with her and at that time she asked for a style for a dance that evening. Autumn remembered 4 months later and asked her how the dance went and how the style held up!!! WOW how did she remember and to bring it up?! Cherry on top! I am super impressed and as a mom, that meant a lot! I will definitely continue to take her to Autumn. Her cut is exactly as she wanted and two days later my daughter is obsessed with how perfect it is. She did great and her personality is so great too! Definitely 5++ stars! The salon itself is wonderful too. The front desk person is always so nice no matter who it is. It's very clean and just a great atmosphere. I've been going for years and it's still as great as it was my first visit!

FANTASTIC as always!!! Maddison cut my daughter’s hair for the 2nd time and she loved the entire experience. The first time she was extremely nervous, but this time she is even more comfortable with her. As for me, she listens to all my thoughts and wants and always makes it happen! Loving my hair!!!

Always a pleasure coming here and seeing my amazing hair artist Clarissa. Balance salon is the best place for all of your hair needs. It’s my hair home 😍 the entire staff is amazing from the moment you check in it’s a great experience.

I have been a client at this salon for many years and I cannot imagine that ever changing. They are always courteous, professional and go above and beyond to make sure their clients are happy with the services they receive. Lorraine especially is a consummate professional and it’s always a very pleasant experience having her color and cut my hair. I will continue to be a client at Balance for a very long time.

Just moved to the area and needed a new salon and found Balance after a search on Google. After many past visits to salons that left me feeling 'meh', I am thrilled to have not only had a salon experience I loved, but one close by I can keep coming back to. Clarissa truly listened to me and did an amazing job with my hair (and honestly, confidence too!). All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Picked up some recommended products at the end as well since they worked so well. Looking forward to my next visit!

Sierra was excellent. Both her personality and understanding of the blonde I wanted to achieve. I have been getting my hair done for about 25 years and this is the best my hair has looked. Exceptional from start to finish!
