Ashley is the best stylist in Tacoma for wavy and straight hair! She not only gave me an expert cut when I wanted shoulder-length waves, she educated me on how to style my hair and which products to use. My waves were more gorgeous than I ever expected!! After several months wearing my beautiful waves, I decided to go for a pixie cut. Not only did Ashley give me a gorgeous cut with beautiful highlights, but she also patiently taught me exactly how to style it just right. I recommend her to anyone who wants a flattering cut and a really kind, generous stylist too!!

Ashley is the best! I have no idea how to take care of my daughter's curly hair because mine is not. She taught me everything, EVERYTHING! And I also love her personality. She is amazing! My 4 years old daughter loves her and trusts her, so she is super comfortable at salon from the 1st visit!

Ashley is a fantastic stylist. She is always very friendly and makes you feel welcomed from the moment you enter the salon. I always feel very well taken care of, and the session is less of a "get in, get out" and more of a "stay and chat for a while" where at the end of the chat, you have whatever hair style you requested! Unlike other stylists that try to push product on you after your visit, Ashley's approach is more, "Here's the great product I have. Let me see if I have a sample of it, and I'll let it speak for itself." I appreciate the low-pressure sales. Your hair is in good hands with Ashley.

I am so pleased to have come across this salon. Ashley is fantastic. I have never left a salon with my natural curls, the stylists just straightened it, but Ashley had me leaving with ringlets I didn't even know I had! This woman is passionate about what she does. I chose to try her because of all the fantastic reviews and I was not disappointed. She focuses on not only a pleasant, relaxing experience, but EDUCATING you on the how and why of your hair care. It's very personalized, she understands not all curls are created equal, and she teaches you how to style and enhance and tend YOUR type. She not only teaches clients, but other stylists as well! Not many know how to tend curly hair and she wants to spread the knowledge. If you have a stylists you think could benefit from such information, send them Meraki's number. We curly babes need to have more access to knowledgeable stylists and Ashley is trying to do that.

I have been visiting Ashley since 2021 and I can honestly say she has been the most instrumental in teaching me about my hair, what products work best for it and how I can best care for it. She is eager to demonstrate new styles for me and how to best reproduce the results at home. Additionally, she is receptive to questions, concerns and feedback about her process. I would highly recommend her no matter what your hair type. I always feel more confident and comfortable after my visits.

I have been going to Ashely for years now! She is AMAZING. I have kinky curly hair that has a mind of its own and she takes the time to work with the curls and cut accordingly. I’ve never had such an amazing hair stylist that knows how to work with my curls. Before I came to Ashely I had no idea how to take care of my hair and style it, she has taught me so much!!
