I’ve been seeing Sophie for years now, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else. Every cut and color is absolutely incredible, and I always get tons of compliments afterward. Sophie really listens, has an amazing eye for detail, and consistently delivers results that exceed my expectations. Highly recommend!

Got a perm wave and haircut with Sophie. The results are stunning - best perm I’ve ever had. I showed her a photo of a curly hairstyle I liked and she replicated the results. The total came out to $350 (not including tip). I have very straight, difficult to perm, below shoulder length hair and I wanted medium tight curls. It was a lot of work for Sophie! I have been going to Sophie hairbis for 1.5 years. As an Asian man, it is quintessential for me to find someone who understands Asian hair, and I found that in Sophia. I was going for a men's k-pop look, and Sophia being Korean herself was able to deliver through her perm techniques. I have done both the regular perm and the iron perm with Sophia. The regular perm is sufficient. I don't think the iron perm is worth the extra money. I highly recommend Sophie hairbis for Asians looking for a trendy Korean hairstyle.

I've been coming here for 2+ years. Haircuts and perms mainly. Sophie is a super skilled hairstylist and on top of that she is very meticulous with the cuts and really takes time to understand customer's demands. I usually bring a picture to show her and every time my hair turns out great. The price is also pretty reasonable compared to other Korean salons in the bay area. Highly recommend it!

I’ve been going to different stylists for every haircut in the last several years. They’re all just so expensive for no reason. (i’m coming from the east coast where you can get a high quality haircut for less than half the price in the bay) Sophie is pure quality and will be my go-to hair stylist. Her equipment is very nice, the space is homey, she’s extremely meticulous, and she knows hair (especially asian hair). She helped me understand my hair pattern (which can be particularly tricky for thick rooted asian hair), gave me tips on how to style it, and really took her time. She’s very sweet and it was very easy to book an appointment with her. Very glad my friend found her. We’re all getting our hair cut from her now.

Been over a week since I visited, but I have very straight asian hair and have wanted a men’s wavy perm and sophie recommended the type of perm I should get, she was able to achieve the provided reference photos I showed ^^, its been 7 days already and did not encounter any problems with my perm and still looks good today! I also got advice from sophie on styling it, Very nice customer service as well, Thank you so much !! Definitely recommend for others 🙂 !!

I visited Sophie Hairbis once in October 2023 for a wavy hair perm and today for a haircut. Prior to my visits, Sophie was always friendly and clear in communicating through text messages. I would send her pictures of my goal, and she always had the skill to understand and help me achieve the look I was aiming for. Throughout both of my visits, Sophie has demonstrated exceptional skill and attention to detail in ensuring I got the hairstyle I was looking for. Today, I visited Sophie requesting a Korean-style hushcut. She took great care in washing my hair and cutting it as meticulously as possible. I just came back from the salon, and I love my new haircut! My hair feels more lightweight and manageable, and also has more volume and movement. I plan to visit her again in around six months for a touch-up. I highly recommend you all visit Sophie Hairbis!
