Sugar Land Hair Bar

I had my first appointment at Sugar Land Hair Bar for a haircut today with Ash Marie. I was greeted by another stylist when I walked in and she let me know where I could sit and wait for Ash. Once Ash was ready she introduced herself and showed me her station where I could put my purse. I then followed her to the hair wash station. Once done with my hair wash I went back to her station where we discussed what I was wanting for this haircut. She was very friendly and listened to what I was wanting and looked at my inspo pictures. She was very communicative and was letting me know what she was doing to my hair as she was cutting it. We chatted throughout the duration of my haircut. Once done she took pictures of my hair. I paid for my haircut and that was it. I was done in about a an hour. Ash did a phenomenal job with my hair! I'm super happy and highly recommend Ash!

I moved to Sugar Land back in 2016 and was so worried about finding someone who I could trust to cut my hair until I met Ashley Rangel. She's been cutting and styling my hair for the past 10 years and is truly the best in Sugar Land. I'm always able to show her a picture or describe what kind of cut I want, and my hair always comes out amazing. She's also styled my hair, as well as my mother in law's in an updo for multiple special occasions, and it's always looked beautiful and held up great. She's even shown and given me advise on how to curl my hair and what products work best with my hair type. She's also very accommodating with her schedule and if you give her a call or text, she will find time to squeeze you in. Not only is she an amazing stylist, but she also gives back to the community. I've always believed that a great haircut can give someone a boost and the confidence that they need to feel beautiful on the inside and out and Ashley has always made me feel this way.

Ash Marie is hands down one of the best stylists I’ve been to. She listened carefully, understood my vision, and gave me an amazing haircut. The shampoo alone was worth it—so relaxing! I left feeling confident and pampered. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist who truly cares.

Ashley Marie was amazing! I got my hair colored by her on 11/6/25 and I’ve already received compliments on how good it looks! I’ve been coming here for over 6 years now, and I absolutely love this salon. Ashley always just ‘gets it’. The blowout I have when I leave from a fresh cut lasts for days, and I always get so many compliments! The best part is that my haircut always grows out beautifully and is easy for me to style on my own as well. Ashley also cuts my husband’s hair- he’s never ever going back to a walk-in barber again. She has helped him with multiple hair lengths and kept it looking intentional and groomed whether his hair is long or short. I usually prefer to support an independently-owned business because you can feel the commitment and care from the owner, and Sugar Land Hair Bar is the absolute perfect example. Ashley takes pride in this space and her services. It is also worth mentioning that I find it super easy and convenient to book my appointments online which is a really nice perk. We will always come back.

I just had a great first haircut from Ash Marie. She did a nice job of simply restoring and cleaning up my existing haircut. It looks and feels wonderful. She was easy to talk to and had a sense of humor too. I'll definitely see her again.
