My experience with the Kim was absolutely fantastic! She displayed exceptional skill and creativity in curling my hair. The attention to detail and precision in her work was evident, leaving my hair with stunning, long-lasting curls. Additionally, her friendly and professional demeanor made the entire salon visit enjoyable. Not only styling hair she did a really great job doing my eyebrows. I can confidently say that this hairdresser is a true expert, and I look forward to returning for future styling sessions.

It was my sister and I’s first time going to Kimlin’s Beauty Salon last month. I wanted to take good pictures to show how well done the hairstylist did my hair. It wasn’t choppy like any other hair salons I’ve been too and they usually charge me over $60. All the hairstylists were really friendly and we’ve all had amazing conversations. Overall, the price was surprisingly affordable and it was worth it because it only cost $20! I’ll be coming here again soon in the future! Side note: cash only!

Always get excellent haircuts here for a great price. Can be a bit of a wait though. Can cut both old and young styles .

First time here, an asian hairdresser took me. I wanted a shampoo and straight cut, 1 inch below my shoulders. She Does a mini consultation - faces me towards the mirror, stands behind me and starts touching my hair and measuring it from the side of my shoulders to confirm the length and what I want. After she was finished, I was very happy and satisfied with everything. I come back a year later and there was about 3 people ahead of me. This time there’s two hairdressers, one is the same lady from last time and the other was a younger Latina lady. the Latina lady finished a person and the three people ahead of me did not want to see her, and they were willing to wait for the Asian lady. I didn’t want to wait for three people to have their haircut, so I let the Latina lady cut my hair. I told her the same thing I wanted as before, and she just goes "okay" and then immediately goes to chopping off my hair, no consultation, nothing. Before she starts cutting my hair she turns my chair AWAY from the mirror so now I’m facing towards the entrance of the building and I cannot see anything she’s doing. At one point of her combing my hair, I could feel how short the cut was. On the outside I look normal but the inside of my mind was sheer panic. I told myself to trust the process, but I really wanted to tell her to stop before she could cut it any further. I didn’t and ended up just letting her finish. I did NOT get to see the entire process till she was already done. It was so short and ugly, I hated the whole look. My face is round and all the focus of the hair was around my chin. I was horrified, and she had the audacity to ask me "you like it?" I said it’s too short, and then she proceeds to tell me "well it looks healthy". I pay for the cut, tip and say thank you and walk out. She seems inexperienced cause of the other lady instructing her for little things. She was also very careless in the way she handled blow drying my hair, and straightening it. While shampooing my hair she accidentally punched my head, I know it was an accident and she did say sorry but I feel after the whole experience that she was just being careless with everything. She lacks good customer service and care for the client. I don’t recommend getting your hair done by her unless you want to be sitting in your car afterwards calling your husband on the phone crying about how horrible the cut and experience was.

My kids and I have been coming here for over a decade. This barber shop is one of Stockton's best kept secrets. My step dad and mom visit us from Georgia every year and this is one stop he HAS to make before going home!

She took her time knowing she had others waiting. Price was very reasonable and she styled the hair after the cut. She also was really nice and I appreciated that she accepts walkins

My go to place to get a haircut for the last 15 years or so. I will always go out of my way to get my hair cut here. Great staff and they know what style you want before you even sit down on the chair.
