I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sandy! She was my makeup artist for my wedding, and from start to finish, she was an absolute dream to work with. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the kindest, most professional, and calming people you could ever hope to have with you on such an important day. We ended up adding a couple of extra services at the last minute, which completely changed our original timeline. Sandy didn’t hesitate for a second — she came earlier than planned, stayed organized, and handled everything with such grace. I was so grateful for her flexibility and how effortless she made the entire process feel. Her work was absolutely stunning. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. Sandy truly listened to what I envisioned, offered thoughtful suggestions, and created a look that felt both timeless and perfectly "me." My makeup lasted flawlessly through the entire day — from the first look photos all the way to the last dance — and looked amazing in every single picture. What really stood out was Sandy’s energy. She has this calm, reassuring presence that instantly puts you at ease. Every single person in my bridal party commented on how talented and wonderful she was to be around. Overall, I had a great experience with Sandy and her team for wedding hair and makeup. The team was professional, friendly, and did beautiful work — we were all really happy with how everything turned out! Everyone looked and felt amazing, and the makeup and hair held up beautifully throughout the day. That said, communication via email could have been more prompt earlier on, and on the day of the wedding, things ran a bit behind schedule. One of our bridesmaids felt slightly rushed toward the end, which added a little stress to the timeline. Despite that, the quality of the work and the professionalism of the team stood out, and I would still recommend them to others — just be sure to build in some extra time into your schedule!

Vendor Comparison I compared 11 wedding beauty vendors and found that Sandy Xiong Beauty had the most competitive pricing across nearly every category, including the full cost of my bridal beauty (hair and makeup) and the costs for my attendants. They offer clear, competitive pricing that’s easy to understand and calculate independently. It didn’t take me long to realize Sandy Xiong Beauty offered the best value within my budget. Constructive Feedback The only area for improvement is email response time. Before booking, I sometimes waited anxiously for replies to my questions near the quote deadline. After booking and connecting with my day-of artists, communication was smooth and timely. Bridal Trial During my trial, KaSen accommodated time for two different hair styles because I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I told Kong I’d never liked my makeup done by anyone else before, and she completely blew me away with her work. The trial was fun, and at the end I felt beautiful while still looking like myself. My hair and makeup after the trial lasted over 10 hours (and through a nap) with only minor touch-ups. My artists encouraged me to take notes after and welcomed feedback, which was very helpful on the big day. Wedding Day! On my wedding day, Kong and KaSen came prepared with my trial photos to reference. Kong told me I took really good notes, which made it easy for her to tweak my look exactly how I wanted. As my beauty prep was wrapping up and the ceremony drew near, KaSen noticed my nerves and took a moment to reassure me -- I really appreciated her kindness. My lipstick wore off quickly, which I expected & failed to prepare for -- I had planned to get the same lipstick Kong used for touchups throughout the day but failed to do (wish I would've! I recommend this tip for other brides). My eye makeup lasted through all the tears without any issues. Even though I knew my down hairstyle would eventually get knotty, I felt like Rapunzel & my half-up hair stayed full all day. I lost a few pieces of tinsel throughout the day but not a single bobby pin. Kong & KaSen's attention to detail and care made all the difference in making me feel confident & beautiful on my wedding day. One of our recent brides used Sandy for their beauty services and she did such a fantastic job! The application was flawless and lasted throughout 10 hours of wedding celebrating on one of the hottest days of the whole year! Absolutely recommend her artistry and professionalism!

Sandy and her team are magicians! I originally chose Sandy because I wanted a team that could do both services and was well versed in different skin tones and Western/Eastern style make up. We paid for a bridal hair/make up trial, wedding day bridal hair/make up, and 5 wedding party hair and make up as well. I used the bridal hair/make up trial for a photoshoot and I walked out of the appointment feeling beautiful but unsure of how everything would photograph. Well to no surprise, I looked flawless and Sandy was able to bring out a beauty in me that I didn't know existed. I was confident in her abilities on wedding day but to see her and her assistant's work on wedding seemed like magic. She made my bridesmaids and mothers look like royalty and all of our hair/make up lasted 10 hours+ in 100 degree summer weather! Her team was able to gauge each person's comfort level on the amount of make up each was comfortable with. They also did wonders with hair all of types, fine or thick, blonde or dark, it did not matter. I'm an emotional bride so of course I started crying (of happiness) an hour after having my service done during my first look, but my make up didn't even budge. I’m getting married in August 2026 and found Sandy beginning of September 2025 I booked a bridal trial for October 1st. I was told I’d get a confirmation email the day before with details—never received it. I emailed to check day before, no response. On the day of, I called around 9am to confirm, left a voicemail, and still never heard back. My appointment was for 1pm, so I drove 35 minutes to the salon listed online. When I arrived, her name wasn’t on any suite. I called again, and that’s when she finally answered and told me she was actually at a different location. At that point I should’ve canceled, but I had already driven so far and decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. When I got there, she was apologetic and very kind, but then told me she had already booked another wedding for my date. She said I could still do the trial and that her team does similar work or I can cancel & wait to schedule with her other team members. I decided to continue since I had already invested my time, and with all her great reviews I expected the BEST, and entrusted her expertise. The website lists trials at $85, BUT if you book & secure a date with her, if you don’t it’s $115 (misleading how it’s worded) I mentioned this could be confusing to brides. In the studio lighting, my makeup looked fine, but once I saw it in daylight, I was pale, very pale and the shades were way too cool-toned. I liked it indoor lighting but outdoors I looked bad. Sandy herself was kind, but the lack of communication, wrong location, misleading pricing, and unsatisfactory results make this a business I cannot recommend.
