I just had a haircut with Maddie at the Saint Paul salon, and as always, it was AMAZING! The staff are so friendly, and the building clean and welcoming. Maddie took my lifestyle into account as well as my ideas for my hair and made them look even better than I had imagined. She also gave me some great advice on keeping my hair looking at its best as well as moving it to a more wavy style. I always appreciate the people here and will definitely continue to return here!

After getting my haircut at their other salons (prior to them closing), I have LOVED Rocco’s. After this last cut in St. Paul, I will never, and not let anyone I know ever go here again. After NOT being told that I was having a trainee (Birdie), my haircut came out so unsymmetrical. I went home to try and replay with my part, giving Birdie the benefit of the doubt, and it still looked horrible. I called Monday asking for a refund,- it sounded like there was hope, as Birdie is new. After sending them photos, and them admitting it was unsymmetrical, they decided to come back and say "they can’t because it could be from a different haircut." I offered to show timestamps on the photo, and they decided to no refund. I am so disappointed with the customer service and the deceitfulness. It’s not long before all of their salons are closed due to poor experience and lack of customer service. I wish Izzy (manager) was able to compensate me for this haircut, as I will need to see someone else and cut off more hair. Such a bummer!!

Very disappointed! Years ago I had great experiences with Rocco’s however I have not been there in 10+ years but I’m turning 50 and wanted to treat myself to a cut and color and it was a disaster! My cut was terrible so I called them and they offered to fix it so today I went to have it fixed and it’s not much better. The color is bad too and at this point I’m so mad I spent so much money there and I will never go back. This is a photo after the first cut and then the second cut.

I enjoy coming here for coloring. The quality for coloring is excellent. The quality for cuts is more hit-or-miss. My daughter's haircut put her in massive tears after the stylist did the opposite of what she'd asked for, and now neither daughter will go back. It took a really long time for her to grow out the layers that were put in that she did not want. I generally get haircuts elsewhere since then, as well, because it was a large mess up that went unchecked by supervisors. This is a good place to go if you are excellent at self-advocacy and are not shy. If you are more shy, or conflict-aversive, it may be better to get your cuts somewhere else. My pre-teen daughter had difficulty standing up for herself after the stylist ignored her statements of what she wanted multiple times.

I love getting my hair done at Rocco’s! I have been going there for many years. Lately, Dani has been coloring by hair and doing a fantastic job. She listens to what I want and gives helpful suggestions. She is fun to converse with, too! Tracy has been cutting my hair. I usually only want a trim to keep my hair as long as possible and she respects this. My hair has been growing long and feels healthy. She is a super fun stylist and I trust her! I look forward to my appointments at Rocco’s.

I’ve had several colors/bleach jobs done here by 3 technicians. The quality went from really good, to even better, to the ultimate best with Candis. She took much extra time making my hair like it’s best with bleaching my hair while leaving some strands my in color for demention. Hard for me to describe exactly her technique but it looks like an expensive job at a surprising lower cost. I would totally recommend this place for hair color. Update: Heidi is another exceptional one. Very experienced, knows how to do a masterful blonding job in 2 hours, what others take 3. She's worth the extra 😉 Thank you!

Heidi has been in charge of my hair for the last 15 years. She is so knowledgeable, and always knows exactly what to do. The best part is that although she always has a vision, she really listens to me, and as a result I get the best of both worlds. The has not been one time I’ve left not being 100% satisfied and feeling confident. If you’re looking for someone who knows hair, listens to you and is incredibly talented, Heidi is your girl.
