Great Clips

I use this location frequently. Paula has cut my hair since I returned to South Bend. She is very personable and has a great sense of humor. I am always satisfied when we have an interaction. Her shampooing is always exceptional and delightful. If it was not for her I probably would not be going to great clips but she over exceeds every expectation. I just cant wait for my next hair cut.

Great clips is an extremely convenient way to get a quick, reasonably priced simple hair cut. The notes the keep on each customer's preferences allow for surprisingly strong consistency across stylists, and their on-line scheduling minimizes wait times. There are few extras (e g. no included shampoo service), but if you want efficient, reliable, friendly service this is a great option.

My experience at this location is often hit or miss. I usually ask for Katie, as she is a wonderful stylist who takes the time and effort to connect with her clients and gain a strong understanding of the haircut they’re wanting. Today, I didn’t ask to be seen by her because I didn’t know she was at work. The hairstylist who did my hair today immediately seemed irritable on calling me up, did not bother to look over the notes from my previous visits, and was not being very patient in listening to what I said I was wanting (a bang trim, same as my last visit). She instead tried to convince me to let her style my hair the way she thought would be best. When I said I wasn’t wanting to change the style that way, she got more frustrated. She also was rather rough, quick, and not at all careful in combing and cutting my hair, and sprayed me in the face with water while trying to dampen my bangs. She was moving very fast, as though her goal was just to get me in and out of the chair as fast as possible. By the time she was done cutting, I expressed that she had gone shorter than what I wanted on one side, and she really did not seem to care at all. She kind of just stood there silently while I tried to figure out how I would make it look more like what I wanted. This is not the first time I was seen by this stylist in specific, I have actually been seen by her two other times I believe, and the quality of service was lacking and I walked out dissatisfied in both of these instances as well. Very disappointed with the service I was given today.

Katie cuts my hair and she is the most personable, sweet and professional stylist I’ve encountered. She is great at her job and highly recommend.

Always a great experience here. All the stylists are friendly and highly skilled. Asala was my stylist this time and she always gives a great haircut with pleasant conversation. I always recommend Great Clips!

First 2 times was good this 3rd time I had 6 inches hair and said inches of and now im almost bald worst experience of my life I will no longer be coming here do to them cut more than what I ask

So far they have done great with both of my son's. My younger son is autistic and they did great.
