I really don’t write reviews and I hate to do this but I need to get the word out to others. My hair is naturally brown and I get a copper color I’ve been doing for 10 years.. 1year+ been a client of this salon. Asked for a very small change in hair color about one shade lighter for summer. Came out super muddy and about 3 different colors, went back for a correction and it was told to me my roots were not going to be done because my hair grew out. Isn’t that what a fix is, getting it to the main idea originally? It ended up fading fast and turning burnt orange and my roots are a medium brown so it showed. I wore a hat for about 2 months during this time. Invested amount $150 at this point. Went in last night for a hopeful final fix, and to get back on track with the color I wanted, was told since I was "indecisive" I could only get a Demi permanent wash out color … I wanted to go back to the color I did for a year I wasn’t unsure about that. Left without really inspecting and thought it looked fine, went to dinner with friends and realized my hair is indeed 3 colors still.. $225 this time. All in $375 and next week I’m getting a color correction at another salon since I have a special event and it looks bad. I was told when I left "better book us back in 4 weeks that color will wash out before then and it’ll be back to dark roots and orange"…… cried in my car ARE YOU KIDDING ME… Just avoid this place they don’t listen. I had a wonderful experience getting my hair cut by Kim today. She was professional, kind and gave me an amazing haircut! Thank you so much! The salon was also easy to get to, clean, and the woman at the front desk was also kind.

I had a great experience at Soma Salon! Angel was fantastic—he really took his time with my hair and did a beautiful job. The highlights initially turned out a bit blonder than I wanted, but when I called, the salon immediately offered me an appointment and fixed it right away, free of charge. I really appreciated their professionalism and great customer service. I’ll definitely be back!

The wife went in a few weeks ago. Saw Danielle , the hair looks awful. She asked me to post a review for her…. She was too embarrassed to do it herself. The first pic is the growth in her hair since last apt. Then she went for the first time to this spot and then her roots were colored a mismatched color. I think some of these other people are right, these folk don’t know what they are doing! They also Lie and gaslight!!

Soma Salon did an amazing job on my hair. The highlights are beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Easy to book an appointment and find parking right next to the building.

I have been using their services since 2019 and love their work. Got my first ever hair color done there as well. Every hair stylist there does an amazing job in the exact same way you would expect them to do! They are very friendly and caring. Highly recommend this place for any kind of hair styling. They do have offers often, which are an added perk - my favorite being the discount after referral for both you and a friend.

I'm sure there are lots of hair types they're great at, and I know what I'm asking for is a challenge (my hair is naturally very dark and very thick and I want to be as blonde as possible) but if you're in my situation I'd advise caution: This is what my hair looked like the day *after* I paid $340 to get my roots done. It still looks like I need to get my roots done. Hairstylist explained that's the best she can do because it's not safe to put bleach directly on the scalp so it has to be foils, and with foils some hair is always left out. But surely it's possible to bleach more of the hair than this? Note: In fairness to her, I declined shadow root this time (because I desperately wanted less darkness left in than usual). With shadow root, it would've looked more blended. But there still would've been way, way too much of my natural color left, which is the main problem.
