Carmen is the absolute best! Went to her for a cut and styling after many many months of neglecting my hair and she managed to work her magic. Was an absolute delight to chat with her and as I’ve been trying to grow my color out, gave me so much helpful advice as well. She really listens to what you want and also managed to make my hair hold a curl for 5+ days (never before). Don’t hesitate and book the appointment — highly recommend!

Amazing experience today! I made an appointment with Carmen because I didn’t love my haircut elsewhere and was hoping I could just get it all evened out - she did so much more than that! She did an amazing job helping me decide what to do with my hair in terms of angles and layers, and executed it perfectly. Very friendly staff and very clean also. I left feeling amazing!

BOOK THE APPOINTMENT. Just do it. Usually going to the hair salon is quite stressful for me (bad salon experiences) but this salon makes everything so relaxing it truly feels like a treat. Alex is so warm and skilled she gives you recommendations and tips based on your hair type, maintenance, and lifestyle. She is a perfectionist like me so I really appreciate her haha. The salon itself is lovely too.

Alex and Maria were both amazing. I was very nervous and Alex explained every step and made me feel comfortable. Maria cut my curly hair and Alex did the balayage and they both did an amazing job! The balayage was definitely expensive and the most I have ever paid for it but it was totally worth it. Also my curls are thriving and healthy even after the coloring. This will become my go to salon in Boston!

Just had my first Brazilian blowout. Alex, who is fabulous, was training her very competent apprentice Mia. My hair is dry and very frizzy. Now it is soft and sleek. I love how it feels and looks. I am extremely impressed with the results and Alex’s expertise and attention to detail. Mia is off to a great start working with a trainer as good as Alex.

Alex did an amazing job coloring my roots and blending my hair to perfection. I love how she styled my hair. My husband said I look younger! Definitely coming back!

Alex is the absolute BEST in the biz. After searching the Boston area high and low, ,I found Alex at Salon Milage about 7 years ago to do my color treatment (ash blond highlights). She really took the time to explain exactly what kind of treatment my hair would need to achieve the results I wanted and is also always very clear about what she's doing and purposefully NOT doing in order to avoid damage. I went to her for regularly for 7+ years, including during preparation for my wedding where I cared extra much how my hair was looking, before I recently moved out of state to NY. Tried getting my hair done with one lady out here and immediately went back to Alex, even though I'm 3 hours away now. It is 100% worth the drive and I recommend Alex and Salon Milage to anyone looking for the utmost quality, professionalism, and personality in their salon professional! All around a wonderful experience I look forward to every visit.
