I had a great experience at Fernanda Beauty Salon. The staff was welcoming and professional, and the salon itself is clean and relaxing. I went in for a blonde balayage, and the color came out beautiful, natural, and well-blended. Shelly took the time to understand what I wanted and was very attentive throughout the process. I really appreciated the care and attention to detail, and I left feeling confident and refreshed. I saw Shelly, at Fernanda’s Hair Salon today, as a hair model. She did an awesome job with my hair. I haven’t had a haircut in months, so it was quite grown out from what I typically have. Since my hair was already long, I decided to do something a little different than my usual. Shelly listened attentively to what I wanted as we looked at photos of possible cuts. Together we came up with a style. A bit longer on top while still achieving my familiar fade. I felt comfortable in her chair, and trusted her with her artistic ability. She did exceptionally well with the back of my head, where I have multiple cowlicks, that have proven difficulty to even the most experienced hairstylists. Fernanda’s Beauty Salon was a memorable experience overall. It was a friendly and welcoming environment as soon as I walked through the door. It was well-lit so I could really see my hair transformation. The refreshments were an enhancement to the luxurious service. Long overdue review, but Sophia is truly my most trusted hair stylist! She and everyone at the salon are so kind, welcoming, and friendly. It always feels like a luxury experience, from the warm towels to the beverages to the chocolate covered strawberries, they think of everything. I have long hair, and it’s always been hard to find a stylist I trust after moving to a new place, but Sophia has nailed it every single time. This visit, I asked for a more transformative cut: long curtain bangs, lots of face-framing, and long to short layers throughout. Sophia really listens to what you want and double-checks the length before cutting. After talking with her, we decided to leave the shortest bang layer slightly longer to account for shrinkage with my wavy hair, and it turned out perfect. It’s the kind of cut that looks amazing blow dried and styled wavy, exactly what I was hoping for. Honestly, this is the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. I’ve never felt more confident. I can’t say enough great things about Sophia, don’t hesitate to book with her! I’m so impressed with her and the whole team at Fernanda’s Beauty Salon. I also really appreciate how clearly the services are priced. You can choose a dry cut, a cut + wash, or a cut + wash + blow dry, so getting a great haircut is accessible no matter your budget. I’ve tried both the dry cut and the full package, and while I loved how my hair turned out with the blow dry, you really can’t go wrong either way.

The service and stylists at Fernanda’s are incredible. Michelle is seriously the best – she's completely transformed my hair! If you're looking for a butterfly or layered cut, she absolutely kills it every single time. Being new(ish) to the Boston area, it took me a while to find 'my stylist,' but Michelle is my girl! Not only are her haircuts amazing, but she also spends time getting to know you and has incredible skill. As someone with super thick hair, I don't trust many people with it, but Michelle always leaves me loving my hair!

I was nervous doing a Brazilian Keratin for the first time and Shelly explained every step of the process and competed my service with complete care and attention to detail. I already can’t wait for my next appointment. Luiza, Vinny and the owner Fernanda were also amazing and helped with my service!
