Great Clips

Nice people but you get what you pay for. I have been in love with my hair with the girl who was doing it but shes in asheville,I just needed a trim so I thought why not? I asked her to clean the layers up,she made them so choppy. Its not blended well at all. This place may be good for men's cuts but ladies,dont be like me,go to a salon.

We’ve been going to this great clips for years since we moved to Shelby. I mainly come for my kids but I’ve gotten cut or trim a few times. I’ve never had a bad experience at this location and everyone has been super nice. The manager is super sweet and helped distract my youngest so she would look up with toys when she got her first haircut. BUT my review was mainly going to be about Rahiem! He is so amazing! He’s so sweet and attentive. The first time we saw him my son was getting his haircut by someone else but she couldn’t do a simple design in the side of his faded side but Rahiem was fast to offer his services:) ever since my son never forgot him! We kept missing him but this time I finally called to ask when he’d be in. I watched him interact with an older lady as we waited for him who seemed to have some damaged hair and he was so sweet to her and took his time. I really have never seen anyone to connects with customers like he does and truly seems to care to his core. When it was my son’s turn he was nervous to get a Mohawk but that’s what he’s been wanting. Rahiem had a vision and my son trusted him:) Rahiem seriously exceeds most any hair stylist I’ve ever seen! Ask for him! You won’t be disappointed and we will be back! I may go back for my hair!:)

So disappointed, I came in for a haircut and literally walked out of there looking like someone was learning in my hair. It didn’t even take 10minutes for the lady to cut my hair and rush me out the door because they was about to close. She didn’t even take the time to clean the hair off. I had to go and get it fix somewhere else because of the poor job she did. If I could leave a 0 stars I would.

Kayla is the best! This has been my go to place for years and she always delivers quality cuts for me and my family. She does really well with fades!

i came in for my normal temp fade buzz and asked for a skin fade on the sides and back. I made sure and asked if she understood what i wanted, and she told me she’s got it. i left there with barely even a fade on the sides and the back had no fade whatsoever. it looks like i have a buzzed mullet. for the life of me i can’t figure out how this person cutting my hair can even cut it and thinks its any where near an ok haircut. and to make things worse this person was extremely rude to me. also my haircut was rushed and it only took them 5 minutes to cut it.

My husband took our son the day before thanksgiving to get his hair cut, USUALLY when he comes to Great clips his hair looks alright, but some lady named Debrah I believe cut his hair and it looks AWFUL. I can’t even style it. I was SO disappointed!! I wasn’t there to see it when it was cut. His hair is so jagged and short on top. Won’t be back!! I just don’t know how this happened the longer side is where his "hard part" usually is so idk where or how this happened.

I love this great clips in Shelby!! My barber Raheem is like the G.O.A.T. Of haircuts he is amazing
