The Hair Castle

I regularly get haircuts here for the past several years very satisfied stylist that has done my hair, I will continue to utilize services.

The second time i was here i had a lady who was nice however was extremely unprofessional. While i was in the seat getting my hair done her ex calls her and she starts screaming at him leaving me feeling very uncomfortable. I paid for a wash, cut, and blowout, she didn’t dry my hair at all or style it. I asked for layers in bangs she did not give me layers but left my ends feeling extremely choppy and my bangs were extremely un even as well i had to ask her to fix them because her next client mentioned it to me before i even said anything. After her"fixing" them i had to go home and fix them myself. She put a hot straightener on my soaked hair and also burnt my face. My mother also had her hair cut by this lady and when we got home i had to fix it because she butchered my mother’s hair. That was the most recent experience i have here. I had another bad experience two years prior to this and i am disappointed in myself for trying to give it another chance. Two years ago i got a cut and dyed my hair. The lady bleached the sweater i was wearing DRAMATICALLY. She also did not dye it the way i asked her to. Maybe not all the hair dressers here are as terrible as those two but I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE.

I ask for my hair to be dyed to tone down the blonde so it would be like blonde highlights .. she did not listen to me and did what ever she wanted and put more highlights in making the blonde stand out more … then charged me for a full color and highlights and a cut that she extremely messed up making my hair uneven and choppy .. then you ask them to refund and they will not only a $50 credit on the books and 1 week to come back and have it fixed. Like there is no fixing this until it grows out some. I am beyond pissed.

I love this salon!! My highlights were the best than I ever had. I now only make my appts here, I also get my eyebrows waxed, and a keratin silk treatment, I have also done hair extensions and it doesn't matter who has done my hair there it has been exquisite every single time. Thank you, The Hair Castle.

My cousin went here and left a bad, but honest review of her horrendous experience where her hair was left ruined and she was charged $300. She approached the salon to get her money back and once she posted the review they called her a liar and threatened to sue her. A horrible place DO NOT GO HERE

Dorry and Lucille are both talented hairstylist who care about making the person sitting in their chair look beautiful when they're done. I love the look Dorry created for me and I am and will always be a loyal patron to the Hair Castle.
