We booked a partial highlights appointment for my wife through Groupon as we’re heading out on vacation. This was her second visit to the salon—her previous experience with a haircut there a few years ago was great, which gave us confidence to return. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disappointment. It seems like going through Groupon may not have been the best choice, possibly because salons have to take a cut on those deals. Still, as paying customers, we expected a service that delivered visible results. Instead, my wife was told that partial highlights would be "subtle" and was encouraged to upgrade to balayage for an extra $30. Since this was her first time with highlights, she decided to stick with the original partial highlights. The result? Barely any visible change. You literally can’t tell she had anything done—not a single person noticed. We ended up spending over $70 and walked away with virtually no difference in her hair color. The only redeeming part of the visit was that she got a nice haircut. Attached the pic after partial highlights for reference. Overall, we’re quite disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this place for highlights—especially if you’re going through Groupon.

Found Alicia through Groupon & brought my bonus daughters in for back to school color. One had never had highlights and was unsure of the results. Her sister and I loved it instantly & let her know how gorgeous she looked. Alicia tuned right in and offered to darken it if it didn’t grow on her in a day or 2 which I thought was very kind:) They love their hair & we will be scheduling again❤️

This was my first visit to Alicia. She has a calm, welcoming demeanor, and listened carefully to my needs. She was the first stylist in quite some time, who listened when I asked for visible highlights, not blended. I love my result. My haircut is great too and I’ll definitely be back to see her.

Booked with Alicia as my first hair cut moving to AZ, and was very happy that I came to her 🙂 She was very gentle with my hair, and was very communicative when scheduling. I have long hair that I tend to be very anxious about cutting, but she did a great job and cut it just how I wanted and it grew so fast after! This is a long delayed review but I had went in December 2023, and now, my hair was even longer than it was when I came in for a trim which I love. Will definitely be coming back 🫶

Alicia @ Peace Love & Hair Salon is amazing. I bought myself a Groupon to have my hair done as a Mother’s Day present to myself and she was more than accommodating when I purchased the wrong Groupon. 🤦🏻‍♀️ My hair looked amazing and a year later, people still ask if I just got my hair done! I’m due for another appointment and I’m definitely going back to Alicia! I am so glad I found her because now I have found someone local I can trust to go above and beyond!
