I found Jaime after a bad experience with a "curl specialist"! I have a wild mane of curls and was desperate for a trim. Jaime was exactly what I had been looking for. Someone who listens and lets her scissors do the talking! She’s also funny. I ended that first session with a color appointment. I had lots of grays. We decided on color and highlights! Great curly cut—praise I do not give lightly, having had many bad experiences with stylists masquerading as curl pros. My first haircut with Jamie four months ago beautifully fixed a botched cut from someone else, and my second one with Jamie a few days ago is even better. Jamie is a great listener and you can trust her with your curls. Added bonuses: Jamie is warm, funny and lively, and her salon is in hipster Starland.

I have been going to Jamie for four years. She usually cuts, highlights, and puts a glaze on my hair. I leave the salon feeling and looking great! I also consider her a friend because while my hair is cooking, we talk about anything and everything and laugh so much which makes the time fly. She's hilarious! I was happy to follow her to her new salon, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new hair stylist.

Jamie was referred to me by a close friend who has been going to her for years. My first visit with Jamie was very positive, upbeat, always smiling, educated me on scalp health care, had me bring "inspirational" photos of what I was looking for in a style or cut, went over color/highlights to choose...then, she discussed what she thought would work for my hair and we met in the middle. Jamie has an awesome gift and spends quality time with each client. She told me as she was working on me, what she was doing, what products she was using and how to use them. Jamie also showed me way to blowdry hair. She has an amazing energy and love for her profession! She also does makeup for clients and wedding events. We had fun going through the process! At the end, I felt more confident, loved the cut, style, color and walked away in to the world feeling like a new Woman!

My girls and I went to Jamie specifically for a curly cut for my daughter. Jamie was so knowledgeable about curly hair and gave my daughter a wonderful curly cut, bringing back all of the curls that we had missed for so long. She took extra time to show us how to care for and style her curly hair. She also gave amazing haircuts to my other daughter and myself. I highly recommend Jamie Dajuan Salon.
