Deanna was amazing and able to correct my nightmare chop job done to my bangs at a different salon on Whitemarsh I went to a while back. Thanks Deanna! You rock! ❤️ The other woman at the salon was also very nice. The salon staff are very inviting and attentive! I would definitely recommend this salon for your hair cut / styling needs!

I don’t like to give negative reviews especially to people who depend on clients for income but I do have to say I was dissatisfied with my service. Deanna was a very pleasant person to interact with but I was left with an unsatisfactory haircut. If you have curly ringlet hair I do not suggest booking with her. I can not speak for other hair types except my own and others alike. I felt that my appointment seemed a little to quick for what I was getting done and later when I looked at my hair dry and curly it looked a bit uneven so I decided to straighten my hair and see if it was actually noticeably uneven and much to my disappointment it was very noticeably uneven. I will say I don’t regularly straighten my hair but now given the current state I will not ever.

VERY disappointed. I booked an appointment with Deanna approximately 4 days in advance just to get a haircut. I was so excited because I have been looking for a new place in the area to get my hair done and this was my first time ever going there. And yes, I'm a local who's been living here for 6 years, not a tourist. I arrived on time to my appointment just to be told that she overbooked and that she JUST started doing a hair color on someone else. She asked if I could come back in two hours. Of course I was not happy but I agreed only because I was desperate to get my hair done as that was my only day off. About 44 minutes later, Deanna sends me a text CANCELING my appointment, claiming "this appointment isn't going as planned." However, what I believe really happened is that she had another person waiting to get their hair done and took them instead of me. I say this because there was a lady sitting next to them in the salon chair, apparently friends with them, and was kind enough to tell Deanna that I could take her place when I get back but I was never offered the chance to come back from Deanna. When I received the cancellation text, Deanna told me she would reach out that same afternoon to reschedule and offered me a free shampoo, cut and style. I haven't heard a word from her since and it's been 3 weeks. Took my business elsewhere.

Great salon. Everyone working there is really nice. Jenna does an absolutely amazing job and she consistently gives me a haircut that looks great... and she is a real joy to converse with during your haircut. When I'm in the mood to chat, we chat, and when I just feel like being low key she knows how to read that and not force conversation- she makes your experience about you...pretty much the best trait for a dude getting a haircut. Really great girl, I wish more hair stylist were as skilled and in tune with their client as she is.

I finally found the perfect stylist. I have gone thru 5 or 6 stylish & have been disappointed each time. This is just to have a highlight. Deana really nailed it & I love it. Gave me a great haircut as well.

I finally have found my place and my go to for cuts and color- Deanna is so personable and knowledgeable I absolutely trust her with my hair- she listens and executes beautifully- I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair! The salon is so welcoming- I just love it there!

So glad I found this place. The salon is located in an enclave of small houses and cottages called Cedar Hammock that have been renovated and turned into various types of shops. The interior of the Cottage Salon is quite clever and pleasing. I have been going to Deanna weekly and found her to be a pleasant, talented hair stylist....and also well priced. Add to all that---there is never a parking problem.
