I’ve been going to Nicole since 2019. She is very patient and has great communication to help me figure out what I want. I typically go to her with an inspiration photo of the hair style I would like, and she will help with recommendations and she asks the right questions. She also advises on how to style my hair. VERY good communication! She is also good with zero/skin fades (see pictures).

Love it. Normally, people can't figure out how to cut my hair, whether it's in the US or China (because it's curly and people try to either force it straight or cut it the weirdest way). But Nicole cut it perfectly. I am glad I found Nicole! She is very detail-oriented, friendly, and warm. I definitely recommend her to anyone!"

I've been looking for a good barber in the Bay Area for 2-3 years and have tried out a bunch (>10) including the ones in the China Town in SF. Nicole is the one that I was so impressed by - I showed her a picture of the style I wanted to have, and she's patient, she paid attention to every detail, and she discussed with me for different options with their pros and cons. I’ve always had straight hair and I’ve always wanted wavy/curly hair but just too nervous to get a perm. Well after going to Nicole, I realized I should have done the loose perm a long time ago! She did such a great job and explained the process and took time to talk about how to style the new hairstyle and how to maintain it. Will definitely be doing back.

Nicole is an artist when she cuts your hair. She is thorough and makes sure that she gives you want you want. I have gotten haircuts, perms, and coloring and it always turns out great. The best part of that she doesn't rush to get more people and really takes her time with your hair. Highly recommended for those that have straight thick Asian hair.

Have been getting my haircut for years with Nicole. She’s the best! Very detail oriented and friendly. She really listens to you and will go above and beyond by offering suggestions on hairstyles and iterating until haircut is perfect. The new location is great, modern and clean. Highly recommend.
