I really enjoyed getting my hair done by Drew. I came in for a hair donation and to freshen up my look after. My kids made the cut on the ponytails after Drew carefully measured everything and patiently guided them through how to do it. It was such a sweet experience to share with my boys. I told her what I was wanting for both color and cut, and she did not disappoint. This is the first time I’ve had my hair cut and layered where it complements my natural waves, with the added dimension that brought my hair to life.

Drew was amazing to say the least!!! This was my first appointment with her and she has made a forever client. She was so sweet and listened to the idea in my head and executed it perfectly!!! I am so beyond pleased with my results and my experience. She was also very knowledgeable about the most up to date trends and knew exactly what I was talking about. I love my hair!!! I came all the way from Houston and even the stylist there could never get it right she was so great.

Shawna is truly exceptional. From the moment I sit in her chair, I feel welcomed and completely at ease. She is incredibly friendly and genuinely listens to my preferences, which makes every appointment feel personalized and thoughtful. I always leave feeling like my absolute best self. And when it comes to blonde hair, Shawna is nothing short of a magician!! Her skill and attention to detail are unmatched. I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else!

Julia and Monroe Hair Studio in San Marcos absolutely deserve 5 stars. My fiancé and I brought our friend in for a haircut she’s been wanting for ages, and Julia made the whole experience so comfortable for all three of us. She really took the time to listen to what our friend wanted, checked in throughout the cut, and made sure she felt confident the entire time. On top of that, the conversation was easy and genuine—we talked about all kinds of things and never once felt rushed or out of place. The vibe in the studio is chill, welcoming, and safe, and you can tell Julia really cares about her clients as people, not just appointments. I’m really grateful for how she treated us and especially our friend. We’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll 100% be recommending Julia and Monroe Hair Studio to friends.

Drew is an amazing hairstylist! She’s talented, detail-oriented, and always makes my hair look incredible. I get compliments every time. Highly recommend!!

Sadly the salon owner would not connect with me in a timely fashion regarding one of her Stylist who made a complete mess of a simple Bob haircut. It was cut DRY! I contacted Lanna the owner over the course of 2-3 weeks to speak with her. To date of this review-nothing. A mystery person will text you. They offer only a dry cut. No apologies, no urgency, & I did go to 3 other salons: Austin, Dripping Springs & San Marcos to get a fair opinion on this "cut." It is uneven, shattered layers all over that don’t work at all. I am a mature woman from Sallas/Fort Worth area-never have I felt more dismissed to allow opportunity to fix the mess. I did seek another salon to fix it & this WILL be a process. I have asked for a refund of $60, $60 in products or 2 shampoo/blowouts: NOTHING. I would not recommend Monroe nor Olivia Presley for aforementioned reasons. Customer Service has been neglectful & I will not return. I am reporting to the BBB.

Second time visiting and although my original stylist was no longer there the new one I had did an amazing job. Liked it the first time which is why I decided to try again even though I had to pick someone new but turned out great as i loved the second cut even more! Already have my next appointment on the books.
