You by Hu Barber Gallery offers a truly unique experience, with attention to detail and a service that goes beyond expectations. The atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, and the team’s professionalism makes you feel completely at ease. I left with one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had, and I can confidently say this place stands out in San Francisco. Highly recommended!

In addition to knowing the classic barber fades and tapers, Hu is a master of longer Asian hair styles. He told me he saw a gap in the market and made sure to specifically study longer Asian hair styles, and it definitely shows. I've tried a lot of barbers in the city, and Hu was able to pull off my desired style.

recently made an appointment for my boyfriend to get a haircut with Hu. He’s never been to a barber before so I wanted to make sure the cut was good but also that the vibes were right. Hu did not disappoint! He came in with thick shoulder length hair and came out with a clean shorter cut. I was personally impressed at how much it matched the reference photos of what he wanted but still custom to his face shape/hair type. Hu also worked some type of magic on his facial hair that made his face look slimmer and left his skin glowing! If your man is in need of a good barber highly recommend making an appointment with Hu.

Hu is a consummate professional. I had been hoping around between stylists until I met him a couple of years ago. I always leave out appointments feeling amazing and knowing how great I look with the fresh cut. He’s become a great friend over the years and is more than just a cut - he’s an experience.

Hu does an excellent job, getting a cut from him is a full experience. He offers great hospitality, his space is beautiful and well curated. Hu caters very much to one's desired needs and crafts a unique cut that feels more like a collaborative project than a routine trim. I will be going back to Hu for my next cut without a doubt!
