I had long curly (unique) hair and haven’t been able to find anyone to cut it well. Figured I cut it all off. I gave this place a shot. It’s just $15. Tammy is a wonderful lady. Her English is ok, but has 25+ years of experience and is really nice if you try to get to know her. For $15 she gave a mid length cut, advising not to go all the way. I walk out and within a couple hours after my hair dried and puffed out, I hated it. But I believe in second chances and I’m glad I do. I went again on the same day and she gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life. Not to toot my own horn, but I look like a unique k-pop model now. On top of that, she refused to let me pay her. Anyways, thanks for reading my TED talk.

Excellent haircut at a great price. A real gem in SF. Fast and efficient. Tammy complains if you tip too much. She is busy, better call for an appointment but can often get in same day.

Fantastic experience at Mona Lisa Hair Salon! The service was quick and efficient. My haircut was exactly what I wanted, and the salon itself was very clean and well-maintained. Prices were also quite reasonable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great haircut at a fair price.

barber will give you a random cut depending on her mood. she specifically told me "i don't listen to my customers". unfortunately, i got the worst haircut of my life, but it was only $13

Affordable and high quality service. I have hard hair that is very ugly and messy when it gets too long. The barber knows how to cut my hair until it is sharp and beautiful. I want to be presentable in public and in the workplace, not look like a slob.

This place is the best because of Tammy. She runs this place and is the nicest and sweetest person to have a conversation with while getting your hair cut. She’s also very modest whenever I tip her. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for her until now, but here we are. The haircut is great if you’re looking for something simple and understandably affordable. Tammy seems to understand exactly what the guys want and gets it right every time without me reminding her. Her clientele ranges from all kinds of people and just knows how to do a proper fade.

This place is okay. The service is fuss free and fast. Your haircut isn't longer than 15 minutes. The hair dresser will insist her opinion on you. She won't be much forgiving if you had provided the wrong instructions. Not for the fragile heart. This is one of the cheapest barber around though.
