Mr. Lee has been my hair stylist for several years! I found him after doing an extensive search for salons that could do modern Asian hairstyles. For some reason there is a huge shortage of them in SF. Not even salons in Japantown could do standard Korean cuts like a two-block cut. Then I found Mr. Lee and he got it perfect on my very first visit. He cuts with extreme attention to detail and will spend extra time on parts of my hair that other stylists overlook. He listens to what I want and gives helpful suggestions based on my hair. He never rushes through appointments. Even as prices have gone up over the years, I keep going back because the quality is worth it. The only other times I get my hair cut are when I’m traveling directly to Asia. The salon is basically just him which makes the experience calm and personal. You get his full attention every time. His place is easy to access and sits right in front of an L stop. Booking is simple too. Just text him a few options and place a deposit. I fully trust Mr. Lee and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stylist who understands and can execute modern Asian men’s, especially Korean, hairstyles.

I've gone to Lee for the past several years now for multiple perms and haircuts, and it’s consistently been a great experience. It feels like he understands hair/my hair that much better than other stylists I’ve had in the past, I’m always impressed by his attention to detail, and so it’s been worth the premium to me. Note that he does ask for a deposit prior to your appointment, but I’ve never ran into an issue with that.

Mr. Lee understands Asian hair texture and always cuts my hair in a way that not only looks good right now, but looks great after it’s been growing for a while. I have had haircuts at other places but I’ve always been a bit dissatisfied because most places make my hair weirdly puffy. I’ve never had that problem with Mr.Lee, and people always compliment me for my hair. I highly recommend you check out this place- the price is worth the service and the styling you get.

Mr. Lee is absolutely fantastic! About a year ago I was like you, looking for a good stylist in the city and I found this place on the internet. Since then, I have gotten 3 perms and 1 haircut from Mr. Lee. He has a meticulous attention to detail and is very knowledgeable about the best way to cut and style your hair depending on your hair type. Making an appointment each time is very easy. I message with what I want to do and the time range and then pay the deposit. I can go to any barber for a quick cut but when I want to look my best I go to Mr. Lee's!

I've been going to Lee for the past year now, and he has not disappointed. I've been looking to get a two-block haircut for the longest time, and I've finally found a solid, consistent barber in Lee. I love that he pays a lot of attention to the finer details, like making sure the sides are the perfect shape and length so that the top flows nicely. Note that there is a security deposit for the haircut.

I've been getting my hair cut by Mr Lee and most recently getting highlights and color. Have always been very happy with my haircut and the products he uses. Mr Lee will ask you questions and make sure your hair type is appropriate for the style you are asking for. His salon is always extremely neat and clean. He is very meticulous!
