Nikolai gave me the best haircut I have ever received. His attention to detail and level of meticulousness went far beyond anything I could have imagined, and it truly shows in his work. I have mixed-texture hair, so this was not an easy feat. He is incredibly professional, and I genuinely see the value in his worth and skill. Beyond the haircut itself, Nikolai is kind, considerate, and anticipatory, always seeming to know exactly what was needed. He is easy to open up to, warm, and engaging, and he made the time fly by effortlessly. He is truly a sweet soul, and I honestly wish I had met him sooner. I give Nikolai my highest recommendation and would trust him completely every single time.

I was visiting San Francisco and after hearing raving reviews about Nikolai, I decided to book him for a trim. Best decision. If you want to get out of your boring hair rut, this is your guy. I went from heavy, thick hair to soft, natural, and lightweight with a fresh, effortless feel with movement and oomph! I couldn't be happier!

It’s been almost 2yrs now that Nikolai has been cutting my hair, and I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time now. He’s been with me through a big transformation — mid-length layered hair to a blunt bob and the awkward in-betweens as I grow it out again. He can do it all. He offers a great balance of listening to my cut/style ideas while also ensuring I think through the practicalities of day-to-day styling maintenance and how the look will wear over time. In my experience, Nikolai is an excellent listener and meticulous with his craft. I’m always blown away by the lengths he’ll take to ensure his clients look and feel their best. Also highly recommend Tylor for color—she got me back to my roots as a blonde (from red)! 😌Across the board, COH is an excellent salon. Can’t say enough good things. All puns intended.

I went to Claudia for my eyebrows, and it was life changing!!! She is absolutely phenomenal at what she does—brow shaping, brow lamination, brow tinting, Korean lash lifts, lash tinting, and dermaplane facials. I’ve tried everything she offers except tinting, and all I have to say is that She is amazing at what she does. My eyebrows used to have no real shape—just bushy, unruly, and thinning hair toward the ends. I had no idea how much of a difference brows could make until Claudia worked her magic. The combination of lamination and shaping completely transformed me. I looked and felt more polished, more awake, and more youthful. She has a unique ability to create the perfectly shaped brows for you based on the natural structure of your face—aligning them perfectly with your eyes and nose creating the most flattering shape possible. The results are amazing! I have had my eyebrows threaded, and waxed and shaped in the past but never had any results that wowed me or even made me feel as if there was much of a difference. I highly recommend you give Claudia a try so you can experience the life changing difference she can make in how you look and feel . You won’t be disappointed—and more importantly, you’ll walk out feeling absolutely beautified!

She’s a true expert in her field with an eye for aesthetics that can’t be taught—it’s just something you’re born with.
