She’s hands down one of the best hairstylists in the area, especially if you’re looking for an Asian/Korean stylist who’s up-to-date with all the latest hair trends and knows how to tailor them to suit you. I got hair color + cut and she knew exactly what I wanted. She was super attentive throughout the whole process, from consultation to finishing touches. My hair turned out perfect, the subtle brown color I’ve been looking for. Highly recommend!

I had a great haircut with Mai! She was extremely detailed and worked well with long, thick Asian hair. I got layers with face framing pieces and cut off 4 inches. Besides that, the salon is beautiful and has a relaxing vibe

i had such a time trying to find a hairstylist i trust in san francisco. i’ve been wanting a Korean perm for a couple of months and I spent so much time looking for a hairstylist who could give me what I wanted and I happen to stumble upon avanti. she knew exactly what I wanted and after a brief consultation, we got the process started. I am so happy with the way my hair turned out. I think it looks absolutely beautiful and better than I expected. I would highly recommend avanti to anybody who is interested in a Korean perm.

the salon interior is so clean and fancy and looks very aesthetic as well. it’s a modern and beautiful place with a lot of plants and nice white walls. my hair stylists was avan and this was my first time dying my hair and am really surprised by the new hair dye color. she made me feel super comfortable and was very kind and nice to me
