The Lab A Salon

This was my second appointment with Sandra. The first was the haircut I tried to achieve for a decade with a multitude of hairdressers, only to end up with an ole lady bob that looked like that minion. She achieved a multitude-layered cut that gave me that sassy senior coif that was easy enough for this lifelong tomboy to style. I work as a bartender so first impressions are very important and I received compliments every shift I worked including 3 on NYE for my haircut done in October! I was so impressed that I brought my daughter who absolutely loved her cut as much as I loved mine, including a second fresh version of shorter layers because I knew I could trust Sandra to keep my grey locks looking youthful. Did I mention the shampoo is like a 5-star spa massage? Obviously, I cannot say enough about how great our experience has been but will add that the usual hour appointment is an hour and half of pampering and self-care!

Very thoughtful and helpful when deciding how much length to cut! I went in determined to donate my hair, and it was such a big deal for me. I’m so grateful Anya made the whole experience less scary and genuinely pleasant!

Lab A Salon is hands down one of the best salons around — the vibe is super chill, the space is welcoming, and the entire team is friendly and professional. I’ve been seeing Catalina for many years now, and she’s nothing short of incredible. Recently, I went in to change up my hair color for the fall, and she absolutely nailed it. I had a vision in mind, and she brought it to life perfectly — the color turned out even better than I imagined. Catalina always listens closely, offers great suggestions, and has such a talent for both coloring and cutting. Her blowouts are flawless, and her Brazilian straightenings leave my hair smooth, shiny, and easy to manage. She’s also just a genuinely kind and easygoing person, which makes every appointment feel relaxed and enjoyable. I always walk out feeling refreshed, confident, and totally taken care of. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows hair, Catalina is it!

The real test of a great haircut is how easy it is to work with after going home and having to wash and style my hair myself. The cut that Kat gave me is the best I've ever gotten -- looks great and is quick and easy to style. That says a lot, because I am 70 years old and have had hundreds of hair cuts over the years. Bonus -- Kat is a joy to chat with. I felt very comfortable with her and will definitely be back. The salon is lovely, too, and the person who checked me in was welcoming and friendly. It was my first time getting my haircut in over a decade i’d say, as well as my first time in this salon!!! I had found Lorin through tiktok and she is the most absolute sweetest and kindest person ever! I felt so comfortable and at ease with her, and she definitely gave me what I wanted!! 🙂 I highly recommend this salon to anyone, and I recommend Lorin to anyone as well!! The service was so good and I can’t wait to go back again and have more done by her in the future! 🙂 <3

Kat was stylist and she was amazing! I haven’t been to a salon in so long because I was so worried and scared of getting butchered like I had before. Kat listened to all my concerns and definitely made me feel comfortable. I had a couple different reference photos that I showed her, and also explained to her that I wanted to try and keep as much blonde as possible because I hadn’t had time to do my roots. Let me tell you guys, she did phenomenal job and I couldn’t be happier. She helped restore my faith! I will 100% be coming back to her in the future!

I went to Katalina for a cut and then came back for a color! I’m obsessed! She listened to what I wanted, she’s super friendly and I felt super comfortable the whole time. Honestly the whole salon was great. Everyone I had an interaction with made me feel very welcome and that’s not something that happens when going to a new salon. I’ll for sure be back!
