The best hair salon I have been too. After doing hours of research to find a hair salon that fit my needs ( ASD/ anxiety/etc) I stumbled upon Sweet Jane Salon. There are only two stylist there: Norman and Nicholas. Nick cut and styled my hair beautifully. He is a true artist and he loves what he does and it shows in his work. Honestly my hair has never looked better. I didn’t really know what I wanted my hair to look like so I told him the things I wished my hair had more of ( volume, shape, long enough to put into a ponytail). The results speak for themselves. In conclusion, if you have an opportunity to get your hair cut here, don’t hesitate… book the appointment.

The best Hair Salon experience I have ever had! If I could give a 10 Star I would but google is no fun. The salon's atmosphere itself was so welcoming and relaxing. First time ever having my hair cut by Norman and he did such incredible job! My hair looks happier and feels so much healthier! Thank you so much Norman! Definitely will be returning as a repeat client!

I’ve been seeing Nick since 2020 and I have never looked back. Every time we have an appointment I come out feeling like my best self. Since being his client I’ve had my hair cut in different types of shags and I bounce between curtain and baby bangs. In my last visit he took my naturally dark brown hair to the perfect copper/red. My husband has also started going to Norm and he always leaves with the best soft mullet. I highly highly recommend Nick and Norm, especially if you’re looking for a razor cut. They are truly the best at what they do.

I get my color and cut done by Nick! I’ve been going to him for the past year and a half. He is so knowledgeable and consistent on my razor cuts and color. He took my hair from black to an amazing red/auburn color and I am in love with it! The best hairstylist in San Diego 🙂

Oh my gosh! Not only was Norman welcoming, interesting, and accommodating, but a master at the art of hair! I just love it!!

I’ve been coming here for close to two years and every time has been a fantastic experience. Nick is a master with color and gets curly hair. (I’m somewhere between a 3b and 3c.) Also! Nick and Norman make everyone feel welcome and at home. I have the greatest chats with them both and it makes my appointments fly by. Highly recommend. July 2025 Update: Recommend even more highly! Still getting amazing cuts and color from Nick and I get compliments on my hair ALL THE TIME. In addition to their delightful space, their wonderfully welcoming vibe, and their expert services, Nick and Norman also have great products and a focus on sustainability. The folks I’ve sent to Sweet Jane have also been really happy with their services. Go!
