Thank you, Kris, for your time, dedication, and effort in making my hair dream come true — it actually turned out better than I imagined! Kris is thoughtful, thorough, and truly thinks long term. As she worked on my hair, she took the time to answer all my questions (which I really appreciated since I was nervous!) and shared so many helpful hair care tips. Her energy is warm, soothing, and positive — the perfect combination. The vibe of the salon itself was also so inviting and uplifting. I’ve often felt uncomfortable in beauty spaces, but here I felt genuinely welcomed and at ease. I’m already looking forward to coming back — honestly, I can’t wait! 💇🏽‍♀️✨

I'm not trying to be dramatic, but Kris is the best stylist I've ever had!! She has made my hair look and feel UNREAL. I've recently been contemplating moving out of SD, and I'm not kidding when I say that Kris is on my list of reasons for staying in SD haha. But for real, she is talented, dedicated, and hilarious. I always look forward to my appointments with her. She really listens to what I ask for and goes above and beyond to make my hair look magical!!! KRIS IS GOATED <3

It was such a wonderful experience! My daughter got her haircut, and although she was a bit nervous about going shorter, her stylist did an incredible job creating a look that perfectly suited her face while making sure she felt confident and comfortable throughout the process. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. I’m so glad we found this place — it’s absolutely worth it!

The salon is perfectly located for me. Just a mile away from where I live. There’s a very high ceiling with plenty of light lots of hairdressers available. I have short hair and you would think that it’s easy to find someone that will do a nice haircut but no until I came to Radar. My hairdresser was extremely likable, Professional And does excellent short hair haircut haircuts. I got several compliments From people that know me and some that have never seen me before. She was able to do exactly what I wanted and I will definitely go back

I found Brandy on instagram a few months ago. I loved all the hair photos on her profile and decided to book an appointment after months of going back and forth. When I walked into Radar the day of my appt, I heard some hot girl music and immediately felt at ease. 🤣 I was in a few minutes early and was offered tea or water while I waited. Oh they also have some candy on the waiting table which I helped myself to immediately. Haha. I talked to Brandy about what I wanted- I asked for her to cut off as much of my split ends as we needed to, some face framing layers, along with some bangs right below the cheek, and more of a u- shape in the back instead of a v- shape. I received just that! Brandy was fun to chit chat it up with. The cut and brushing was done gently, the wash felt so relaxing after work day. My hair feels healthy and thick again! All the stylist seem to have a positive rapport with each other which I love!(I’m a Scorpio, I’m very nosey and observant). They have piñata’s hanging from the ceiling- I learned these are employee pinñatas they are gifted for their bday. How sweet! Defintely recommend Radar and Brandy!

I walked into Radar Salon today after seeing it listed on Google as a salon that specialized in cutting curly hair. I immediately loved the friendly feeling of the shop and the fun decor. I was matched with Lucy, a stylist who really knew how to work with my hair. She spent a lot of time, cutting my hair dry first so she could see how it fell, and then perfecting it after it was wet. The whole time she gave me tips on how to use the products that I have, and showed me how to diffuse and style my hair without pulling out all the curls. After so many years of fighting my curls, I'm finally liking this curly/wavy look, and Lucy shaped it in a way that will make it a lot easier to handle. Besides that, Lucy is a really nice person who is fun to talk with. I also liked the shop owner, Isaac, who came by to chat and talked with me again as I left. Clearly, he sets the tone for a happy and welcoming environment. I highly recommend this shop, and especially Lucy. I am so happy with the results of her work!

Im never going anywhere else! The moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, and so inviting. The front desk even offers drinks and candy, such a cute touch. The salon is gorgeous and spotless, and I love seeing the range of styles they create, from bold, vivid colors to classic, traditional looks. I’m usually terrible at explaining what I want with my hair, but Kim understood me instantly. I gave her the vaguest description ever and she still nailed it! We talked about my budget and how committed I was to achieving the look, and she kept it real in the best way. She’s honest, attentive, and clearly cares about how you look and feel. You can literally feel the bond between every client and their stylist, it's such a supportive environment. The whole team works together, and it shows. I’ve been to salons where stylists talk down to each other, none of that here. And Isaac? Absolutely amazing. He talked to me like we were lifelong friends and even helped keep my super chatty kid entertained. I walked out feeling beautiful, confident, and honestly unstoppable. I recommend this salon to literally everyone, and I’m never settling for anything less ever again
