I had a late night haircut (7PM) cause it was kind of a spur of the moment thing, and when I arrived I was greeted with such kindness and hospitality. Super cute spot with so much personality. I got a pixie cut, maybe better described as Princess Diana meets the mom from Zach and Cody. I am IN LOVE with it. Kaitlyn did such an amazing job, I feel so confident and in love with my new look! She has years of experience and is a wonderful story teller.

Another fabulous day at PaperDoll Salon. My hair cut & touch-up was done to perfection by Cindy (who I trust blindly). The rest of the Dolls are just too much fun when they are finished with their satisifed clients. When I go their, I feel like it's a day out with the girls. That's the vibe you get as soon as you enter the salon.

Gabby is absolutely amazing! She brought my hair back to life and helped refresh my curls! I won’t go anywhere else for as long as I’m in San Diego!

The first time I visited this salon, I has a very pleasant experience. Carryn was amazing and my hair was PERFECT! After we finished, she pulled out her phone showed me all of her availability, and booked my next appointment. Fast forward to ONE day before my scheduled appointment, I receive a text from Carryn saying that I was booked on a day that she is not scheduled, so we need to move my appointment. I complied and we rescheduled for the following week, also on a morning that she does not work, but she said she would come in early for me. I mentioned that I would be short on time as I had to get to school on time after our appointment and she said it would not be a problem. I showed up today at 11am for our rescheduled appointment and Carryn no showed me. At 11:25, I was offered to see another stylist, with Carryn's pricing and 15% off next time. NEXT TIME?! I mentioned that I had to be out by 12:40PM as previously discussed with Carryn, but that meant that there was no time for a blow dry or hair styling. For that, I requested 15% off this time, since I would be leaving with wet hair. It took about 5 minutes to reach the decision that they would grant me the 15% off today. I left with SOPPING wet hair, a SOPPING wet sweatshirt, AND hair dye all over my $150 sweatshirt. The sweatshirt cost MORE than the service lol. Just insanity. Before we began the service, I offered to take it off in order to avoid getting dye on it, and they said "no need". I am never one to complain, but I am absolutely FUMING about how this was handled. Save your money, this place lacks ALL professionalism.

Kaitlyn at PaperDoll was amazing! I came in for a color correction and she knew exactly what to do! My hair color is not straightforward but she is such an artist so it turned out perfect and I’m so glad I found her.

Jess was the best. She took her time to make sure my hair was perfect, and it was. Best blonde highlight job I’ve ever had and the vibes were unmatched! I am grateful I stumbled upon this salon

I went in very wary of getting anything special or close to the pixie cut foto I showed Gabby who was assigned to me. Let me just say that I started to warm up the minute she washed my hair. Such a soothing scalp massage!!! This was followed up by at least a 10 minute Q and A about what I wanted my hair to look like// and not just from the picture. She asked a lot of specific questions about my sideburns and bangs, the top and back etc until we were on the same page. About 45 minutes later I looked in the mirror, jumped up and down screaming Yes, Yes! Yes!!!!!! It’s Perfect!!!’. she asked me if I had ever seen Freaky Friday and I said no and then whipped out a picture of Jamie Lee Curtis and said see that’s you!! I actually had that cut back in the 80’s but THIS damn good. You have to go to Paper Doll and ask for Gabby. btw, they serve beverages. some are even alcoholic!!!!!! Bottoms up 🥂
