Maven Salon

I cannot say enough positive things about my recent appointment with Teyah for a full paint balayage - Teyah was amazing and did literal magic on my hair. We discussed my hair needs and I pretty much told her to do whatever she wanted color-wise and honestly, it's like I've shapeshifted. The colors she chose compliment my skin tone so well, they are well blended and multi-dimensional. She is a true professional and so skilled in her craft. The salon itself is clean and very cute, it seems like the staff all have great relationships and are supportive of one another. Excellent experience and so so so happy with my hair! Thank you Teyah!

had an appointment with Marcy for highlights and a bob haircut, and she exceeded my expectations. She was attentive, professional, and delivered excellent results — I’m very happy with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend her services

I am so happy I have found the Maven Salon and Jess. I moved to San Diego a little over a year ago and I was looking for a stylist for two months. I got a recommendation for Jess and I couldn’t be happier. Jess is a magician, she knows great cuts, she knows beautiful color, and I trust her completely. Everyone is very friendly here, I always leave in a great mood in addition to a cute hair. The salon itself is lovely, parking is not tough, and the whole experience is smooth. I really appreciate the fact that the booking process is quite simple. I usually text and what I Loooove - I get a reply very quickly, thank you for being super accommodating. For someone who finds scheduling appointments a hassle, this makes a big difference. And lastly, two of my co-workers asked me to give them my stylist’s contact information as they liked my hairstyle - I think that says everything about my stylist’s work 😉.

I have always been scared to do anything with my hair and lose my natural color, but Teyah at Maven made me feel so beautiful and comfortable!! Thank you for your help exploring my style!!!

This review is a couple weeks overdue, but I had to come back and leave one because I’ve been loving my partial balayage that Teyah did. The tone is so warm and golden, exactly what I was hoping for, and my hair still feels incredibly soft and healthy. Appreciate you, Teyah!!!

Franki Stephens at Maven Hair Salon in San Diego gave me the best bob I’ve had in years! The cut is precise, flattering, and easy to style. The salon has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
