I came to Ivy Hair Salon today not knowing what to do with my hair. My goal is to make it look healthy again. With the dryness, frizziness, and brittleness of my hair, I was thinking that I may end up having a very short hairstyle when I walk out. This is the first time that I met Cindy, and I knew from the moment that she put her hands on my head, my hair will be in great hands. Sometimes, you just know and feel the energy when someone has healing hands. Indeed she does! She treated, cut, and styled my hair, and it brought me to tears. I’ve never cried after getting my hair done before, but today I did. There’s something about a great hairstyle that improves someone’s confidence. Cindy, a million thanks to you. And I hope to see you again soon.

All of the staff are very nice, happy, and welcoming. Cindy did an excellent job! She knew exactly what to do. This haircut is, without a doubt, is the best that I've had in San Diego.

I have been going to see Ivy for years and she is the BEST! I have gotten haircuts and had stylists comment on how amazing my balayage is. She is incredibly thorough and pays attention to detail. I haven’t gone to anyone else that’s better than her! 10/10 would highly recommend. The only reason I gave my review 4-stars is because of the salon atmosphere (it’s an older shop so it could use an update) in relation to the price. Otherwise I would recommend Ivy to everyone I know!

I got my haircut yesterday by Cindy and she was such a joy! She did a great job with my layers and dead ends as it had been forever since I got my hair cut. She was incredibly sweet and made my haircut such a relaxing experience as well. Love her energy and talent :). Prices are also more affordable than most places in San Diego.

Very friendly. They ensured the length and style I wanted every step of the way. She ensures my part was natural and gave me tips on how to care for my hair and style it! She even charged me less than the initial price because it didn’t take long to do. Very affordable compared to most San Diego places but still has geeat outcomes! Will definitely be back!!
