5/5 Stars - Incredible Transformation for Lunar New Year! I visited Ann (the owner) at Hairworks Mira Mesa to get ready for the New Year, and I couldn't be happier. I have very thin, weak hair and a bald spot on the back of my head that has always been a huge insecurity for me. I let Ann use her "artistic eye" to choose a style for me, and she was so patient and professional. The Highlights: • Relaxing Experience: The shampoo and head massage relieved all my stress. • Healthy Cut: She removed all my damaged hair, and I felt lighter immediately. • Cold-Curling Process: This was amazing! Because it’s a cold perm, there was no heat damage or scalp burning. It felt so cool and satisfying, and the curls go right to the root. The Results: My hair looks so much fuller and healthier. Most importantly, she completely covered my bald area! My concern is finally solved, and I feel so confident and pretty for the New Year. See my before/after photos for the proof! Thank you, Ann! ❤️

First time at this salon and I’m impressed! Got my roots touched up. Anh was very nice and did great. The price is reasonable as well. I will definitely be coming back!

We have known Vida for the last 20 years and she has provided her services to our family since our kids were little. It’s amazing they are grown up and still continue to look for her assistance. She is so polite and always receives us with a great smile when we arrive and when we leave. Thx Vida for your kindness and positivity attitude . Happy new year.

My wife has been going to Hairworks for many, many years for her haircuts, hair sets, and perms. My wife now has dementia and the staff here has been wonderful to her, treating her with kindness on every visit. Through all of the years my wife has been going here, the staff has always been polite and professional and she would never go to another salon for her needs. Thank you Anh and staff.

Worst service. We enter they never greet you. Stern looks and preferences is given to some random customer who walks in and knows them. Selective politeness we were waiting for a while didn’t bother to update us how long lacked 2 times. Zero manners. We left after they said it would be a while. Most unprofessional. Never going back.

I had an appointment at 10:30 and was greeted with a friendly welcome. I had a shampoo which felt amazing and the stylist took her time and did a wonderful job. She then dried my hair and asked me what kind of style I would like for my cut. I showed her some pictures and she went above and beyond. Not only did she cut it and style it perfectly but she took her time and executed it beautifully! As a person who is very mindful of her spending the price for the quality and services was outstanding. I will definitely be going back and recommending this salon !

For mens haircuts they definitely lean towards cutting shorter than what you show them, just be aware. Most recent visit yesterday left me with split ends and broken hair literally everywhere. I suspect that the thinning shears they use are dull and is what caused this, quite frankly, disaster of a cut.
