Had my hair cut and colored by Kelsey. We did a consultation a week or so before so that she was able to schedule and plan what I wanted. She did an amazing job! I recently moved from New York City and she has been the first stylist in San Diego that was able to get me what I wanted and gave me advice on how to maintain the color that has worked. I highly recommend working with her, she not only did a fantastic job, but she is also super nice!

This salon is the place to go to not only get a haircut, but also color! I have been going here for many years and I do not plan on changing this. Between ambiance and professional hair stylists, none better. Quinn is my go to (for years) and the absolute best, and Xia (the salon manager) is like no other! You are treated like family here, even to the point of the owner Hector. Treat yourself and make an appointment at HDOF!!

I used to be happy with my haircuts, but I was told about a price change only after my service. When I questioned it, they honored the original rate—but the stylist then refused to book me again. I see other customers reported the same of their shady moves. This was extremely passive-aggressive and unprofessional.

Tashia is the best!!! I could literally sit in the chair and say nothing and she’d know exactly what my hair needs. Love every cut and cut for bangs so much. Best salon in SD. Thank you Tashia!!!

Oh my gosh, Bella is the best. I had such a lovely time, the salon got me in on short notice as I was traveling through and Bella brought some true love and light to my hair. Couldn’t recommend more highly.
