J’s Remixed Hair Design

So it’s has been almost 6 months since I could find some one reasonable to do my hair when my friend sent me a video of them I was pretty skeptical like that’s a crazy deal they advertising here lol you know. So a couple weeks after that I decided to call. Made an appointment for a the morning time. There was alil bit of miscommunication going on but few hours it got fixed and I was able to get my hair done. They did they thang with my dreads and line. Janya and Jasiah thank you so much. I went to this shop today...I had an appointment out of town and they cancelled at the last minute. This shop took me in on the same day. I must say I'm very pleased with my loc retwist and style. They have cool prices too!

Jay is Amazing. Very professional and a godly man. This is my first time getting a lace frontal. I absolutely love it I get a lot of compliments on it. I will definitely go back to him for my braids any future events that I need my hair done for . Jay is a true blessing a diamond in SAC .

J is a master of his craft. I came in expecting the worst. I’ve had bad experiences at salons my whole life and have avoided them. As soon as I sat down, J assessed what my desired style was and how we could achieve it. Over the course of a few hours he blew my expectations out of the water. I walked away absolutely hooked and feeling incredibly confident with a renewed and clean look while attention to all my needs were met. Also- be warned J’s is a family establishment. Expect to see kids and folks popping up. If your patient, the kindness, service, and care is beyond worth it.

Very very very happy with visit. I just moved here from Indiana and was very nervous to find a new person to maintain my locs. I got a wash, retwist, and edges styled. I made my appointment just hours before coming in and they were nothing short of kind and informative. The service was very well priced, and I loved the products that they used in my hair. The shampoo smelled like thin mints or Andy’s mint chocolates and was very refreshing to my scalp. This will be my new location to get my hair done. 5/5

If I could honestly give 0 stars ; I would. I set the appointment with the Owner; Jay. My daughter and I also went as far as to send a picture of her needing a basic re-twist. He indicated that yes he would be able to do her hair successfully. The appointment was scheduled for today ; 10:00 AM. My daughter and I arrived early to a locked door and lights out. 10:00 came; no owner. 10:30 came and I decided to call ; after 1 ring voicemail. I was very shocked and surprised that the owner failed to communicate and upset for my child as well. I urge you if you are considering scheduling with this Salon; to let the previous reviews guide you. Had I read before booking; I would have learned this establishment is unreliable as well as extremely unprofessional. You have been forewarned. Jay; do better.

The owner is really nice guy. But the people that he employ they're selfish and they only keep their appointments for their family members. Real clientele get kicked to the curb or dismissed. He really needs to look at how to build a good quality company and not just a hair place for the people's family. We all love our family. But we're still running a business to take care of our family. Jay needs to work on growing the business. And not letting them employees dictate his growth
