I was in search of a new stylist who could enhance my natural curls, making them softer and more defined without the crunchiness or frizz. Crystal took the time to understand my hair type and what I wanted in a cut. She used a dry cutting technique that allowed my curls to fall naturally and encouraged beautiful "S" shapes. She also shared helpful styling tips and recommended products that left my hair feeling soft and hydrated. I was thrilled with my new cut. Even more so in the coming weeks because I was able to easily style my hair at home; it looks and feels great! I wanted to embrace my gray but didn’t know how to make tbe process easier! After a consultation, my hair now looks FANTASTIC! It is blended in perfectly and she brought the shade of my colored hair closer to its natural color! Worth every penny!

Finally posting after many years, because I want to rave about the professional and personal salon service throughout the last three years, as I navigated surgeries and follow-up treatments. I made a decision to let my hair grey naturally-- now I have an enhanced color that looks great for as long as necessary AND pops when we decide to do a bit of creative play. I've never had a color and cut that I've loved this much. It only took 50+ years and an expert colorist and stylist to convince me to use my natural colors, enhanced. Excited to see the salon grow and watch the "new" team consult with new clients.

Andrea walked me through the whole transition to my natural gray. She was both confident and comforting. She supported me and also provided me with color that enabled me to feel less self-conscious while in the process. . I love my hair! Her cuts are amazing, I fought with my curly hair for years And since she started cutting it, there is no need to fight. 🙂 Hannah at the front desk is warm and professional a perfect combination. I often end up texting Andrea a week or so after a cut to tell her how much I love my hair and to thank her.

Andrea is so special and exceptional at her job! I have been seeing her for the past 3 years and as a curly haired girl, I've never felt more confident having someone work with my hair. I trust Andrea and her expertise to color and cut my hair, without much of my input, and my curls have never looked better. Pre Andrea, I was use to leaving a salon with wet or straightened hair because I've never found someone who can style my curls and make me feel like me, Andrea is the first person who can do that. She is also incredibly interesting and a pleasure to chat with during my appointments. I can't sing her praises enough.

I am very indecisive when it comes to my hair and color. Crystal took her time going through the book and comparing colors to my skin tone to make sure we achieved what I was looking for. We spent almost an hour looking and there was no rushing or pressure for me to decide! Pricing can be hard these days with hair services and she made sure the service was affordable and reasonable with amazing results. Her attention to detail on short hair cuts is also something that is very hard to find. She takes her time and knows the perfect cut that will look best with your face. 5 star service will look forward to coming back again.

I love my hair. Yup, I said it. It’s curly and dark and white-silver. It’s short now. I’ve tried it many different ways. But I never liked it. Until I met Andrea Bonawitz, small business owner of Parlour Salon. Though she has the straightest hair I’ve ever seen, SHE KNOWS CURLS. She also knows women who want to transition to Silver naturally. Most importantly, she respects what I, her customer, wants (or thinks she wants). I found Parlour and Andrea by sheer luck, after leaving another salon that had stylists that had been trained to work with curly hair. Though skilled, I didn’t feel the same respect, and communication about my curly hair journey. I usually left feeling sad and not very pretty. In my opinion, Andrea’s skills and ability to interpret what I’m trying to accomplish exceed those of anyone else to whom I’ve been. Maybe it’s age that has taught me what’s important and to voice it. If asked for my opinion, I wouldn’t hesitate to say to anyone on the ‘spectrum of curly hair’, (and yes, Andrea taught me that pretty much everyone has curly hair; very few people have truly straight hair) and hair color meaning as much to you as it does to me, to try to get an appointment at Parlour Salon. Andrea is my person, and what Haley does looks incredible too. I heard a "rumor" that they’re expanding!! Hopefully that will allow more of us to enjoy the privilege of having curls and hair of sparkling silver, on which a stylist actually knows and seems to enjoy, how to create magic🪄 Thank you Andrea.
