Got knotless box braids today and I love them! They feel amazing and we’re done quickly. Usually takes about 5 hours to braid my hair but it was done in about 3. Will definitely be going back for other services.

I have gone to Nechole for quite some time and this is now the third time I’ve dealt with scheduling issues. I would highly recommend she update her booking calendar if she is unwilling to take appointments late in the day. I was asked to come in earlier than my appointment time because she had plans at my original booked time and when I couldn’t make it there in time we agreed to cancel the appointment as we were not going to reach a resolve. I am So disappointed because she’s a great hairstylist, however lacks professionalism and consideration for her clients time.

Being mixed (black-white), I made the decision to get knotless braids but considering I've never done it before, I wanted a consultation first. This place had the most reviews -though mixed reviews- I decided to make an appointment. The app used to make appointments I sketchy at best due to the deposit and being auto charged for a tip (20%) within 24 hours if you don't do it yourself. Nichole, while she seems good at hair, did not come off as professional by A) changing my appointment time without clarifying if I was free, B)speaking to me like a child and not client, and C) as an owner, not choosing to close or stop taking appointments due to a family emergency. A funeral, if anything, is absolutely within reason to close for a period of time or ask your clients to reschedule another time. In the end, I never got a consultation or heard back from her after the conversation in my pictures (redacted her phone number for privacy and my fb information as well) and on top of that, I was still charged 10$ for my trouble. I'm not going to cry over the lost money cause it's really nothing but all around, didn't have a good experience and I found somewhere else to get my hair done. Hope this helps others make a decision 😊
