I’m so appreciative of this business and felt I absolutely had to write a review. My husband was initially a customer at HD Salon. He convinced me that his hairdresser, Tracy, could fix the mistakes left by the most experienced colorist at Julianna Salon in Webster. That stylist had damaged my hair so badly that I desperately tried to fix it with boxed color, which only made things worse. Tracy not only fixed my hair by redoing a full balayage, but she also really listened to me and tried to match the pictures I showed her as closely as possible. And she NAILED it. I had beautiful hair that made me smile every time I looked in the mirror and allowed me to take stunning graduation pictures. I went back a couple of times after that for refreshes, and each visit was perfect. For the summer, I felt more adventurous and asked for a lighter shade, which ended up being too light for me. I took a day to see it in different lighting, both indoors and outdoors, to figure out what would work best. When I went back to the salon asking for a touch-up, Dianna took care of me, another wonderful stylist. It seems the entire staff shares the same professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. I couldn’t be happier with the result! As a side note, they refused to charge me for that service. I tried to insist, but I was told that it was salon policy. I was so embarrassed to have taken up their time and effort and just walk out without paying. I’ve had a long history of disappointing salon experiences over the years. I used to live in Paris, and it was the same issue there, many stylists imposed their own vision and ended up messing up my hair to various extents. But it finally feels like I’ve found my place here. They are truly the best, and I wouldn’t want anyone else touching my hair. Thank you to everyone at HD Hair Salon for doing such an amazing job! I have been getting my hair cut and beard trimmed from Heather since before she opened the store. I have never been disappointed with her quality of work, and she even puts up with my indecisiveness. Attached is a picture that shows a fresh fade with beard trim. Thanks Heather!
