I’ve been searching for a hair stylist who can give me a sharp, stylish short haircut without charging over $70. A friend referred me to this place, and when I called, the gentleman who answered was kind and helpful—he recommended I ask for Paul after I mentioned I wanted a current, fashionable look. Paul exceeded my expectations. He was focused and professional, taking his time and saying only a few words during the entire 40-minute session. His dedication and attention to detail truly impressed me—he’s one of the most committed stylists I’ve encountered. While Paul may not be completely fluent in English, showing him a photo or two of your desired style is more than enough to communicate effectively. The best part? I paid half the price I used to—and walked out with double the satisfaction. Highly recommend!

My friend recommended here, and I was super satisfied. The staff I had named Paul, a very good stylist. When he did shampoo on me, he did a few neck massages. That’s was amazing. I will go there to have a perm next time.

Jade Salon is a Chinese hair styling salon in Richardson's Chinatown on Greenville. It is often busy, and the welcome is always warm.

I have gone to this salon throughout my entire life since childhood and I've hated my hair every time. I used to love this place for the culture but I can't stay loyal any more because they truly don't know how to do anything other than their own hair style. The twins only know how to give you the hair they have. This salon is only capable of dyeing hair that always ends up red. The only perm they know how to do is the wet seaweed look or the ramen noodle shape.

Had a really good haircut with this team. $17 with taxes included. I gave a generous tip and suffice to say I will be a long term returning customer.

Usually when I get a haircut at other salons, I’m disappointed somewhat with the outcome. But here, they’ve given me two really great bobs that I’ve been confident to rock. The first time Wei Wei Xia (I think) cut my hair and he speaks English pretty well. I showed him a picture of a long bob and he did a wonderful job and gave me pointers on keeping up with the style. The second time, I came in for a trim a couple of months later and had another hair stylist. I wanted to keep my hairstyle, but she ended up leveling my hair instead of keeping the long bob. By the time I noticed, it was too late. But that was my fault for not communicating it clearly. I’m still happy with the bob. For the quality of the cuts, the price is way better than other places.
