There were complimentary snacks and drinks and the place is full of sweet ladies, worth the drive from Dallas. Jazlyn never disappoints, whether she’s making my vision come true or I let her go off and show her creative talent

Found these folks when Googling nearby places in area.The scheduling person was very proactive and helpful: when my Saturday appointment was going to be affected by the 2026 snowstorm, they reached out in advance to get me scheduled earlier + made time in the evening. The studio is in a renovated house, and the directions were very clear. Very cozy, comforting, welcoming vibe: reminded me of my college dorm, hearing friendly/familiar voices chat about pets and relationships and gossip in the other room, with all the professionalism and tidiness of a well-kept salon. Vanessa (Vane) was personable, efficient, and a true artist. She asked clear, clarifying questions about what I wanted, and made suggestions based on observations about my hair texture. The layered shag cut that she gave me has truly made me feel like myself again, and revitalized my hair's personality and volume. Versatile, not too choppy, and effortless styling: Vanessa created exactly what I wanted, and was friendly and communicative throughout the entire process. I'll definitely be recommending this establishment to my friends, and returning here for future haircuts.

Absolutely WONDERFUL experience! The vibes of this place are so cool and it was one of my favorite hair cut experiences I've had. City Hippie is my favorite hair studio I've tried in the Dallas area. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. I've gone to City Hippie twice now, and I've only ever had a good experience there. I've only had Jennifer and Jazlyn cut my hair so far, and both did a great job! Jennifer cut my shag--I've been so obsessed with it, and I've gotten so many compliments on my hair! I asked Jennifer about a curl cream that could help with styling my hair at home, and she helped me find products and learn how to style my new cut. Jazlyn has trimmed my bangs, and she was very sweet and helpful with suggesting curl products as well. I 1000% recommend this place to anyone wanting any type of cut. I love the vibe of the studio, and the staff is nothing but kind and welcoming!
