I got a layered haircut that I'm super satisfied with and will be coming here from now on! I feel like it's hard to find a hair stylist that knows what they're doing and isn't charging like a hundred bucks for just a cut in the States. However, I got a haircut that looked exactly like the picture I showed her and paid a very reasonable price. I think this is the best haircut I've ever received in my life.

Joy cut and colored my hair and I have been pleased with the results. Both my son and husband got haircuts as well and they both love their cuts. We are happy to find Joy. She is pleasant, accommodating and her place is super clean. Joy will now be our new hair stylist for the whole family.

When I walked into Joy Hair, I was glad it was a very clean and nice place. And I was a happier person when I walked out of there. I have very frizzy hair, which I always have problem taking care of it. I literally gave up on it until I found Joy a few days ago. At first, I went to Joy Hair for a hair cut. During the hair cut, I told Joy about my hair problem. Immediately, she gave me a professional recommendation, a keratin treatment for top of my hair. Wow! It really worked like a magic spell. We (8-year-old son, 6-year-old daughter and myself) have been coming to Ms. Joy for a year now. We started with her when she was still in Torrance and we were just glad when she moved to Redondo because it’s closer. We like that she understands our hair and knows exactly what to do to create the best style without making us feel she just wants to upsell or make more money. (For example, she would go for keratin treatment of only the top part of my hair because that’s only where it’s needed and I’d still get good feedback about my hair after) I’m happy with the quality of treatments she does on my hair because it lasts a long time and still looks good (digital perm on ends of hair still looks good even after 10 months). She also tells you her opinion about things you’d like to do with your hair without pushing for it (but I end up trusting her opinion too and come out of the salon satisfied). She teaches you how to style your hair before you leave the salon too (she won’t sell products unless you ask for it).

I have been a customer since she was working previous hair studio. I have three sons, and they want different hair styles. When I asked her for each details, she tried to make it as I mentioned. I usually visit her every 2months, and she remembers how their hair style was. As well she treats my kids well so that they feel comfortable.

Moved to the area. Drove by and called to see see if could get a quick haircut. Joy said yes I can. I pop in and she cut my hair to perfection in 7 minutes. Record time I told her and that she has a customer as long as I’m around. Highly recommend Joy Hair.
