This salon was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint! It was my first time there and i really enjoyed my experience. Brian and his team did a great job with my hair making sure i got exactly what i wanted. The price was great considering its nyc. I would definitely come back and if you’re thinking about coming it’s super worth checking out !!

Highly recommend Nova Salon!! We were visiting family and wanted to get our hair done. We came here based on the great views and they surely lived up to them! I was long overdue for a coloring so Sam helped cover all my whites, applied highlights and all over color. It came out so beautifully. Brian gave my son a perm/cut and Kama did a beautiful job on my daughter’s highlights & haircut. It was her first coloring and she’s so happy with how it turned out. They listened to what we wanted and were so attentive. Also thank you Jason for helping!! You are so good at what you do! Everyone is so nice and experienced. We will definitely come back again and recommend to all our friends.

Brian has been my go-to barber for perming and haircuts, and I couldn’t be happier with his work. The haircut is always clean, well-blended, and tailored to my head shape, and the perm looks natural and lasts well. What really sets Brian apart is that he doesn’t just cut hair—he also takes the time to explain how to take care of it and how to style it properly at home. His advice has made a big difference in keeping my hair looking good between visits. Professional, patient, and very skilled. Have been going to Sam as my barber and stylist for a few years now. He’s always been very professional, friendly and attentive to my wants and needs. This was my first time getting my hair dyed and I love how it turned out! Definitely recommend, he worked precisely and was very detail oriented. Gave me a thorough breakdown of how to take care of my hair and what to use.

I've always had Elson do my hair for coloring. It’s been many years. From bleaching it before to now, every time I get my roots touched up, he's always very patient and professional. Also Nicole who washes my hair makes me feel like I had a very deep scalp treatment. The price are reasonable and I definitely recommend this salon.

I haven’t changed hairstylists in over two years, and honestly, before that I would just go to any random salon whenever I needed a haircut. That all changed after I met Brian. From my very first visit, I knew I would never switch again. Brian is truly exceptional at cutting, coloring, styling, and blowouts. His skills and professionalism are on another level. Over time, I introduced my boyfriend, my parents, and even my relatives to him—and now everyone goes to Brian. Altogether, I’ve recommended him to about 8–10 friends and family members, and every single one of them has nothing but amazing things to say. He is not cheap, but he is 100% worth it. His service attitude is incredible—he will keep adjusting and styling until you are fully satisfied. There was one time I was late and he was already very busy, so I told him not to curl my hair and just straighten it instead because it would be faster and I didn’t want him to stress. He looked at me and said, "If you’re paying, you deserve full value." That moment truly touched me and showed how much pride and professionalism he has in his work. After Brian cut my dad’s hair, I was honestly shocked—in the best way. He looked 10 years younger, and I’m not exaggerating at all. My boyfriend, who is usually very budget-conscious, now refuses to let anyone else touch his hair—even when he goes back to his hometown where haircuts are cheaper. My mom is even more extreme—she goes to Brian at least three times a week, sometimes just for a blowout and styling even when she doesn’t need a haircut.
