Vivid Image Hair Salon

I asked Rachel for a short hair with straight bangs and got layers and curtain bangs instead. Maybe because I’m a minor so she didn’t take me seriously. The haircut that I got looks nothing like what I wanted which I showed a picture of. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is I tried to restyle it and it looks fine. Also the layers are uneven too. If you only what to cut your hair you’re fine. But I don’t recommend to get your haircut here if you want to style your hair. They also charged more than 50$ which is kinda crazy for me.

Highly recommended. $18 for men haircut. It’s a steal. i’m very happy with my haircut. It did not take more than 10 minutes waiting.

Went to this shop many times before as it’s close to my home. Two ladies provided good service but mean while feel very disappointed with the guy named Kevin there. He’s so careless and greedy by asking $10 more than previous for three times within 10 month period that caused me never want to go back again.

Update 8/28: After long closure due to covid-19 , they are open with outdoor setup now. One of the nicest hair saloon this side. Run by Chinese folks who are extremely gentle and polite. Rates Men haircut - $10 Boy under 10 yrs - $ 8 Women n Girls - $ 15 and up Above rates are for cash payments. Add $ 3 for visa, atm , MasterCard payments.

Pathetic hair cutting. I went to this salon few times before as this is nearest to my house. There is only one man hair dresser here who is in always hurry while cutting hair. I do not ask for any special hair cut but just cut them short and that also he never does right. Most of the times will leave hair so small that they are straight up. I thought let me try some lady hair dresser here. One time it was fine, and second time I noticed that lady is in hurry and did not show final hair cut properly with mirror. Later I saw my hair are missing from a couple of spots on back side of head showing scalp, and side burns are different on both sides, one side wide and other side thinner.

Although the haircut was okay, the color was way darker than requested. But what bothered me most was the complete lack of hygiene at this place. They are in such a rush to speed up the number of customers serviced that they do not clean ANYTHING in between!! They use the same dirty capes, combs, scissors, razors, towels customer after customer - not even washing hands after handling garbage, sweeping, etc. The stylists are nice but they really need to step up their cleanliness otherwise they’ll be spreading infections from customer to customer.

Wait time is around 8-10mins in the morning during the week day. My stylist she is nice and energetic, she cut more layers for me since my hair is super frizzy hard to manage. I will come back again. My son has been staying with this salon for long time.
