Daniela has been doing my hair for over eight years and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Every now and again we switch it up and I always blindly trust her! She is the most sweetest thoughtful stylist that not only cares about your hair, but cares about your well-being!

I’m writing this review to share a serious experience I had at this salon that others should be aware of — especially if you’re booking with a junior stylist. I came in on July 16th 2025 for a simple bleach and toner service with Lexie, a recommended junior stylist who specializes in hair color services, and assured me she was comfortable with the photo inspo I provided. I offered her multiple inspo options at my consultation, and she expressed she was comfortable and confident that either of the colors would look great. I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, and I expected some level of oversight. However, what happened during my appointment was not safe or within normal salon standards. The bleach was left on my scalp for two hours, and at the time, I wasn’t aware this was excessive, I wasn't exactly sure what she was doing to my hair and scalp — but within 24–48 hours, I developed a bleeding sore, intense itching, and widespread scalp pain. The irritation and discomfort eventually spread down my neck, and I had to seek medical care. Upon looking through time stamps of progress pictures, I discovered the bleach had been left on my hair for two hours. At urgent care, I was diagnosed with a chemical burn and bacterial folliculitis, a scalp infection likely caused by overprocessing. I’m now on antibiotics and medicated creams and continuing to monitor the area for scarring or permanent hair loss. This wasn’t just a mild reaction — it’s been painful, distressing, and physically damaging. While Lexie was kind, she did not communicate, collaborate, and spoke poorly of my hair loudly to another stylist during the service. I recognize she did not intend to harm me, but the reality is that she was not prepared to handle a chemical process like this without proper guidance. Junior stylists should not be working unsupervised with products as strong and potentially damaging as bleach for prolonged periods. I’ve reached out to the salon privately and hope they take this incident seriously. I’m sharing this publicly because clients deserve to know what can happen when chemical services are done improperly — especially by someone still in training. If you choose to book with a junior stylist, please ask about their experience with bleach, what oversight will be in place, and don’t be afraid to speak up during your service. I trusted the process and now I’m paying the price. I genuinely hope no one else has to go through this. Unforunately it is apparent that the other negative reviews of this salon are entirely accurate and describe other horrible experiences at this salon. My scalp is still hurting and healing.

I have truly never felt so happy and confident leaving a hair salon!!! I went in for a pretty big style change and asked Lexi for shaggy layers and bangs, and she did such a incredible job capturing the exact look I wanted. She was kind and communicative throughout the entire process. The rest of the team was also very nice from the time arrived to when I walked out the door! Such a lovely experience, I can't recommend it enough 🙂

I can’t say enough about the incredible care and expertise Daniela Toscano has provided for my hair, my hair health, and my confidence over the years. She’s never satisfied unless you’re happy with your hair, and what I’ve always respected most is her honesty. She will tell you the risks of what you’re asking for and the likely outcome based on the current state of your hair. I have very fine hair, and a few years ago, Daniela suggested I try hand-tied extensions. She’s amazing at them and is always learning new techniques, taking classes, and staying up to date. Most recently, she used JZ Styles 22" J-tied extensions, three packs total, two dark and one lighter brown, to add dimension and help my hair blend naturally. I wish I had taken before and after photos because the result was beautiful, and I left the salon feeling so confident. A big thank you to Daniela Toscano for her skill, care, and dedication. 10/10 every time! 🫶🏻
