Got a haircut from Maddy - they did an amazing job! My hair looks better than I imagined it being, they were able to take my super overgrown hair and bring it to the perfect cut that I’d been wanting! Jesy was also very helpful and professional! Great salon! The stylists are talented and good at listening to what kind of style you are trying to achieve. The atmosphere is fun and friendly - clearly the stylists like each other. I have worked with two of the stylists and would trust any of them. I recommend it!

I really enjoyed my hair cut at this location, my whole life my sister has cut my hair so I was very nervous with choosing a stylist to cut my hair and get it right. But I put all my trust into this place and it didn’t disappoint. Jesy the owner is very kind and humorous, she does great scissor work on both men and women hair cuts. I left grinning ear to ear because jesy did my hair just how I envisioned it. The place is very clean and has a chill vibe, and all the products used feel high quality. I will definitely be coming back.

If you're looking to get your haircut or styled for a special occasion or for an event or holiday, do not use Petaluma hair company. They will cancel your appointment at the last minute even if you schedule months in advance. They have stylists that take days off at the last minute and don't show up for their appointments. We were canceled for our Christmas haircut, we were canceled for our son's picture day haircut, and we were canceled on several times last spring.

Son has not had a haircut in 7 months. He is very picky about how his hair is styled. Max did an awesome job. Son loves his new haircut.

Niki is amazing! I've been in to see her a few times now and she nails it every time. Most recently, she added highlights to my hair and I got exactly what I wanted based on just a few photos and my own vague description. The other hairdressers and the people working at the front desk have also always been friendly from what I've noticed. Highly recommend!

If you weighed all my fine, thinning hair, it might make an ounce. But Jesse and Max at Petaluma Hair Company managed to make it look thick, casual, younger. Their sublime scissor skills, the high quality of the product on PHC's shelves (R&Co), and their coaching on how to use them (sparingly-- they're not cheap but they fight above their weight) perform the magic. I feel better when I look in the mirror than I used to. Owner Jesy--whose husband Roman designed the salon's logo, greenery-themed decor, and built the visually warm and woody work stations--is welcoming, smart, interesting and fun to talk to, very good at her job. I bounce back and forth between her and the equally gifted and brightly friendly Max, because they're both so nice to talk with. The front desk staff is adorable: two friends, Marissa and Maddie, both on-it and professional yet super-likable. They happily complete a beautiful picture.
